We also congratulate Chad & Ashley (Westmoreland) Burgin and Isabella on the birth of their new son and brother, Carter Russell th Burgin. Carter was born on May 9 and weighs 7 lbs. AFTER EASTER EVENTS Love One Another
Today, your child will learn that Jesus followers carried the good news all over their known world, but they couldnt be everywhere at once to help new believers know how to live. God prompted them to write letters. These letters would teach new believers how to live. And these believers would be known by their love for one another. Memory verse: John 13: 35. _____________
SOUP LABELS & MEDICINE BOTTLES The Ladies Ministry is collecting Campbell Soup labels for the Smoky Mountain Childrens Home. The Home collects these labels to purchase a van for the Home. The Iris B. Vest Widows Care Center uses empty medicine bottles to make crafts so bring in your empty medicine bottles, also. There will be containers for these items in the lobby. Thanks! _____________ MOTHERS DAY Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers. To show our appreciation for our mothers, we have a gift for you. Mathew 24:14 - And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Last Sunday, the Russellville Church of God began a new outreach ministry. We will preach the gospel across the seas to the uttermost parts of the earth. For the first time in our church history we will be streaming our services live on the Internet. I truly count it a blessing from God to be able to send His word to anyone with Internet and a computer/mobile device. Just think, shut-ins, sick, elderly, incapacitated etc. anyone who is not physically able to attend church can now join us live via the Internet.
