Visual arts - coursework authentication form


- The following visual arts assessment components require authentication comments from the teacher:
• Comparative study
• Exhibition
- Teachers must complete this form for each candidate in order to confirm the authenticity of the work being submitted for
assessment.
- Teachers must meet with each candidate at three decisive points during the creation of the coursework. The key outcomes
of the interactions, which might be formal meetings and/or informal discussions in the studio, must be summarized by the
teacher in the tables below. Teachers may decide to discuss each of the assessment tasks during the same meeting or to
have dedicated meetings for each task.
- The completed form must be submitted to the IB following the instructions outlined in the most recent version of
Assessment procedures.
