What is Supervisory organization?
It basically creates a hierarchy to follow.
We first create a reorganization.
The steps are – (NAVIGATION)
Search reorg in the search bar and when the box appears we will fill
the reorganization name , date and description and then click ok.
Then we create a supervisory organization.
The steps are- (NAVIGATION)
Search cre sup org in the search bar and then click on the task option.
After that select the reorganization that we created earlier.
Then the box appears and we will the necessary fields like availability
date , subtype, visibility and then click ok.
Then we create a subordinate supervisory organization-
(NAVIGATION)
Search the sup org that you created and click on related actions.
Select the reorganization and then subordinate sup org.
Fill effective date and click ok.
Then we fill the required fields like organization name , organization
subtype , date , comment and then click on submit.
What is staffing model?
It is a way of filling the jobs and positions into supervisory
organization.
There are 2 types of staffing model-
POSITION MANAGEMENT
It is a type where hiring restrictions are set because it is a controlled
way of hiring.
For example hiring a sales manager for 2 positions with 10 years of
experience.
For its steps- (NAVIGATION)
First we have to select the task to create position and then fill some
mandatory fields like job position title, no. of position, availability
date , earliest hire date.
JOB MANAGEMENT
It is a type where hiring restrictions are set at an organizational level ,
thus carrying more flexibility and speed than position management.
For example, there is a bulk hiring for customer care services with or
without previous job experience.
How to edit staffing model ? (NAVIGATION)
We have to go to the supervisory organization that we have created
and then select related actions of that sup org.
Select the organization from there and then from the organization tab
select staffing model and then change it accordingly.
What is compensation ?
Compensation is a component which is paid to the employees against
the work done by them for the company.
(NAVIGATION)
First type cre comp pack in the search bar and fill the effective date in
the box that appears.
After that fill the necessary details and then click OK.
How to create a compensation package grade- (NAVIGATION)
First search create compensation grade and fill details like effective
date and pay range segments.
Click ok and then fill details like Grade name , Base pay elements ,
currency frequency and then click ok.
Then fill other mandatory details like grade profile name, base pay
elements, eligibility rules, currency, frequency and then fill the grid
by selecting the total base pay and then enter the desired amount to
other segments.
