[Link]: Paraphrase and answer the question
E.g. Describe a product that you would like to buy in others countries
=> I’m going to talk about a thick scarf from the UK that I really want.
2. Background information
Where can you buy this? How do you know about this product?
3. Body: appearance - function
Appearance: material, colour, size, details, ...
Function: what it is used for, how to use it, ...
4. Conclusion => Feelings/Opinion/Evaluation

Example: Describe a product that you would like to buy in others countries
[Link]: Paraphrase and answer the question
I’m going to talk about a thick scarf from the UK that I really want. (what)
2. Background information
where can you get it: It is from the UK, specifically from a brand called Bershka.
how did you know about it: I came across it when I was going shopping. Somehow I didn’t get it
back then and I regret it so much now.
why do you want it: If you touch it then you’ll know why I want it so badly. The material is just so
soft and fluffy. Imagine that feeling against your neck when wearing it!
3. Body (1): Appearance
Colour: Appearance-wise, the scarf comes in a range of different colours from solid to
checkered. From my observations, the tones are more subtle, not too vibrant.
Length: The length is about an arm span, just the perfect length.
Material: The material is probably why I’m drawn to this scarf. It’s made of wool, quite thick but
extremely soft. Feels like it’ll melt in your hands.
Details: The scarf also has tassels on 2 ends which is quite commonly seen in scarves.
3. Body (2): Function
Function 1: keep warm during the winter
Obviously, I want this scarf because I’m sure it’ll keep me warm when I go out during the winter.
No wind can get past that thick layer of wool.
Function 2: act as an accessory, complement the outfit
Besides keeping warm, I think this type of scarf makes a great accessory for my outfit. I like to
have it hang around my neck, just to add a pop of colour to my basic outfits. Sometimes, I also
like to be experimental with different ways to wear it. I saw a tutorial online showing how you
can turn the scarf into a bow or create a hood from it.
4. Conclusion
Scarves are nothing new and can be found in any country but I think this particular one is made
for countries with cold climates so it’s not found in Vietnam. It might not be suitable to use in my
country but I want one anyways because of how soft it is.
