0. General
0.1. Introduction
Pegasus has been developed by DNV to support recording and assessment of thickness
measurement data. This can be done in two different ways: Either by entering
measurement data into tables (the so-called table-based functionality) or by assigning
thickness measurements to an existing 3D model of the ship structure (the so called 3D
functionality).
The program is protected by a license file which defines the scope of functionality. In
particular the availability of table-based, and 3D functionality is determined by the
feature releases of the license files.
• Spreadsheet like tables, allowing easy data input and clear presentation of
measurements results.
• Dynamic hot spot list showing the most critical areas with respect to degree of
corrosion.
• XML based data format for exchange, storage and transfer of thickness
measurement data.
For the table-based functionality of Pegasus, the measurement recording tables have
been designed to simplify input of data as much as possible. Furthermore, their layout is
similar to the tables commonly used for TM reporting according to IACS.
• The results of the comparison of the measurement data against the specific
maximum allowable diminution are coloured in the tables according to the
degree of corrosion.
• The results of the comparison of the measurement data against the specific
maximum allowable diminution are coloured in the graphical view according to
the degree of corrosion.
• The generated reports contain the IACS required tables with automatically
created sketches of the measured structure and assessment results.

0.5.5. Work Area
The work area is used to display different windows containing information of various
aspects of the ship or the thickness measurement campaign, see Figure 3. The following
sections describe how readings are entered into the tables or assigned to a 3D model,
how forms are filled in and how results are viewed and assessed.
0.5.6. Attachments
The list of attachments, see Figure 4, provides one or more documents related to the
ship, e.g. drawings, pictures, capacity plans. These documents will appear in the report
directly after the front page. Supported image file formats are: jpeg, png, emf, wmf, and
bmp.
Note: Files added to the list are copied. Therefore any subsequent changes to those
files are not reflected in the generated report.
Figure 4: List of attachments
The output window holds information about recently executed operations, warnings and
errors.
The options window provides several tabs for changing the program behaviour mainly.
The default command can be used to reset the options back to the default settings.
Under the “General” options tab (Figure 5) the auto save function can be enable or
disabled. If it is enabled an auto save interval can be defined. We recommend enabling
auto saving.
The option “automatic check for updates on startup” specifies whether the Pegasus
update server should be contacted to search for program updates on startup.
18 / 151
Figure 5: General Options
Some TM-tables can be preconfigured according to the size of the ship. For instance the
number of rows is known when the steel drawing of the ship is available (strake length in
the TM-1). The same holds true for cross sectional tables TM-2(i) and TM-2(ii), see
Figure 6.
Figure 6: Table options
For tables of type TM-1, the default number of plates in strake fore and aft from
amidships can be defined, see Figure 7. If the numbers to fore and aft end are different,
the maximum should be chosen. For example, setting this value to 5 will result in 11
rows, 5 forward, 1 mid ship, and 5 aft.
20 / 151
For tables of type TM-2(i), the default number of strakes between stringer and centre can
be specified, see Figure 8.
For example, setting this parameter to 3 results in 5 rows for the TM-2(i): 1 stringer
plate strake, 3 strength deck strakes, and 1 sheer strake.
For tables of type TM-2(ii), the default number of shell strakes can be specified, see
Figure 9. While sheer strake and keel strake is fixed, the number of strake for side shell,
bilge and bottom can be given.
For example, 2 side shell strakes, 2 bilge strakes and 2 bottom platting strakes, result in
7 (keel strake taken into account) rows in the TM-2(ii) form.
The behaviour of the table editing can be changed using the last two options.
Movement of the cursor on pressing the enter key can be switched by the last option.
The cursor can move top to bottom or left to right on pressing enter. When left to right
movement is chosen, the cursor moves into the next line when leaving the last editable
cell in a line.
0.5.9. Getting Help
For each context, the corresponding section of this manual is immediately available via
function key F1. The overall help can be invoked from the Help menu opening the
PegasusUsersGuide pdf file.
Additionally, the user might activate on bigger screens within the Options the help view.
The Help View supports you during runtime with help information to the actual view. This
will display the help view on the right side (see Figure 12: Help bar). For detailed

2.2. Compartments
For some kind of measurement campaigns, e.g. CAP and ESP, it’s necessary to provide a
statistics based on compartments - hence there is a need to assign readings to
compartments.
34 / 151
2.2.1. Compartment Definition
Creating a new project for table-based recording using table-based functionality there
won’t be any compartment definition unless the project is provided by DNV in the case of
a measurement campaign according to TM-7S31. Every compartment in scope of
measurements has to be created. That can be done via the compartment menu or via the
local toolbar button of the TM-Tables (see Figure 20). Using the local toolbar button
opens a dialog; see Figure 21, where the name must be specified. The type (or purpose)
of the compartment has to be chosen from a predefined list.
All compartment definitions are contained in a table accessible via the Compartments
menu provided by the General Data panel, see Figure 22. Previously defined
compartments can be edited or deleted while new compartments can be created directly
in the table.

Left-clicking a compartment cell and selecting a defined compartment from the drop-
down list assigns the reading to a compartment. In order to assign the same
compartment to several readings, simply select all cells or the whole column. Then use
the set data function to assign a value simultaneously.
For newly created TM tables of type TM-1, TM-2(i) and TM-2(ii) (see section 3.3) default
compartments will be created and assigned as front compartments to the readings
according to the following scheme:

TM-7 will be created automatically from the readings assigned to the 3D model -
nevertheless the TM-tables can also be created manually e.g. for parts of the structure
which does not exist in the 3D model.)
Note: In case of local corrosion the corrosion margin is set to 30% of the original
thickness as default. Depending on the type of corrosion, this local corrosion
margin can be overwritten as defined by the attending surveyor.
The necessary steps to establish the assignment for different table types are explained in
detail in the following sections.
Note: All values have to be entered with decimal delimiter according to country specific
local, i.e.. 10,5 in German and 10.5 in English.
Measurement assessment
For some measured values a rating symbol in the Diminution column A is shown. This
symbol is used to indicate a specific degree of corrosion or a warning that is related to
48 / 151
this measurement, for example a measured value that exceeds the original thickness or a
case where the maximum diminution can’t be determined correctly, see Table 1.
Substantial corrosion
Substantial Corrosion is an extent of corrosion such that assessment of corrosion pattern indicates a
wastage in excess of 75% of the maximum allowable diminution, but within acceptable limits.
Structural part has to be replaced
In case of corrosion which exceeds the maximum allowable diminution the corresponding structural
part has to be renewed.
Measured value exceeds original thickness
A new created table opens immediately. Existing tables are listed in the table tree of the
measurement Table panel. They can be opened by a single or double left-click. A table
and its content can be deleted ( ) or copied ( ) by the local toolbar icons or by right
mouse click on a selected table. If a table is copied, it will be inserted below the selected
table and all table content will be copied except the measured values and attached
sketches.
Note: For each table type, the tooltip specifies which structural members are supported
50 / 151
Figure 26: Measurement tables tree
The order of measurement tables can be changed by moving a selected table via drag
and drop up and down. Furthermore folders can be used to better organize measurement
tables. The report created uses the same table ordering as within the table tree folders.
For all table types except TM7S31 there is a set of basic functions available from the local
toolbar of that table.
Define favorite structural members to appear at first in the referring select list. If not edited, the
three most used structural members per table type appear at the top of this list.

Different values for original thickness can be specified on portside and starboard side. In this case,
two columns for Org. Thk. are needed. The button shows or hides the two respective columns for
original thickness. And maximum allowable diminution.
Hide and restore additional columns used to define and show the compartment to which a
measurement is related. The specification of compartments is optional except for CAP and ESP
measurement campaigns.

TM-1 tables, see Figure 30, shall be used for recording of thickness measurements of:
• All strength deck plating within cargo length area.
• Keel, bottom shell plating and bilge plating within the cargo length area.
• Side shell plating that is all wind and water strakes within the cargo length area.
• Side shell plating that is selected wind and water strakes outside the cargo length
area.
For oil tankers all deck plating strakes are to be recorded, for ore/oil and bulk carriers
only the deck plating strakes outside line of openings are to be recorded.
Measurements are to be taken at the forward and aft areas of all plates and the single
measurements recorded are to represent the average of multiple measurements.
For Oil tankers additional measurements have to be taken where plates cross
ballast/cargo tank boundaries, here separate measurements for the area of plating in
way of each type of tank are to be recorded.

Additional Commands
For web frames, measurements are taken for lower, middle and upper parts. To show a
specific part toggle buttons can be used.
Pre-calculations are needed to set up the TM-7S31, furthermore the scope of the
measurements is specified by DNV. Hence prefilled tables of this type will only be
provided by DNV to the ship owner for every single ship prior to the measurements.
These tables must be used to guarantee a complete and consistent assessment.
TM-7S31 tables, see Figure 46, shall be used for recording of thickness measurements of
cargo hold transverse frames of bulk carriers under IACS UR S31.

thickness measurements at a certain frame position. Instead of using different table
types for recording at one frame, TM-# table offers the possibility to record thicknesses
of longitudinal and transverse structural members in the same table.
When creating the UTM report the measurements will be automatically distributed to the
standard IACS TM tables depending on the referring structural member of the reading.

In most cases measurement data are entered into the tables only after the measurement
campaign has finished. To support recording of data by several persons, the software
allows file merging in case of table-based functionality. To merge two or more files, it is
mandatory that all files have the same Main Particular data. At least IMO number, ship
name and applied rule set and the internal measurement campaign id must be identical.
The following procedure is highly recommended for a smooth data import:
1. Create a basic project file including all ship specific general data (to be
defined in the Main Particular and Compartments sub-items of the
General Data panel).
3. After finishing data collection, gather all files at a single place and import
them back to the basic file, one-by-one.
The import comprises transfer of all tables, attachments corresponding to tables and
compartment definitions.
To run the file import, select “Import …” in the File menu, see Figure 49. A file dialog will
open allowing selecting the file to be imported.
84 / 151
Figure 49: Data import
Note: The merging of files is only supported for pure table-based measurements
(table-based functionality)
To enable the Stainless Steel functionality, you must set the Stainless Steel checkbox in
Main Particulars. When set, each T-table gets a Tr-State checkbox instead of the normal
one. If the reading is defined as Stainless Steel the Diminution/Corrosion will be
calculated according to Stainless Steel rules.

4. TM-3D-Model
Performing 3D based measurement recording, i.e. using Pegasus 3D functionality,
requires a model of the ship structure given in HCM format. This HCM format describes
the structural model in terms of plates and stiffeners with 3D shapes, properties and
affiliation to structural members and compartments4.
Total Model
Compartments
Structural Members
Assigning readings to this 3D model requires a graphical view displaying the structural
parts where thickness measurement shall be carried out. Within this view readings are
created by mouse click on the shown structural parts storing information about the
location of reading (3D coordinates) and the referring structural part with approved
thickness and maximum allowed diminution. Views can be arbitrarily created and stored
with Pegasus to allow specific measurement recording.

Note: A view is just a utility allowing recording of readings independent from any
assessment or reporting requirements. I.e. a view can be deleted without any
impact on recorded readings, their assessment or report generation.
88 / 151
4.1.1. Cross Section View Creation
A cross section view showing the ship structure within a dedicated frame range or at an
exact frame position and can be created by the cross section view wizard in figure below.
The frame position resp. the frame range can be defined by the menu below.
Xmin Frame number defining the foremost x coordinate of the cross section. If checkbox not ticked, frame
number is set to the minimum frame number of the model.
Xmax Frame number defining the aftermost x coordinate of the cross section. If checkbox not ticked,
frame number is set to the maximum frame number of the model.
Note: Intermediate frame positions can be entered by <FrameNo> +/- <dx>, e.g. 72
+200 defining the position at 200mm in front of frame 72. If Xmin and Xmin are
set to the same frame number an exact cross section view (with zero x
extension) will be created.
S. Checkbox for selecting structural members to be shown in the view. Ticking checkbox in
first row will select all structural members.
Name Name of structural member. List can be filtered by user defined regular expression to be
entered in first row of the list. E.g. typing DK* will restrict the list to structural members
having names beginning with DK (e.g. DK_1, DK_2, DK_FORE)
Type Type of structural member. List can be filtered according to the type. This filter is
predefined to restrict the list to longitudinal structural members.
A compartment based view showing all structural parts within this compartment and can
be created by the compartment view wizard in figure below.

Figure 63: Measurement View tree
The 3D Part Filter allows the selection of structural parts to be shown in a view by the
following filtering criteria
• spatial extension in x, y and z direction (Bounding Box)
• compartment affiliation (Compartments)
• structural member affiliation (Structural Member)
If no filter is active, all structural parts will be shown (see figure Figure 64)
Unfiltered: All parts shown
These filters can be configured by the 3D Part Filter panel shown in figure Figure 65.
94 / 151
Figure 65: 3D Part Filter panel consisting of Bounding Box, Compartments and
Structural Member filter lists.
The Bounding Box filter allows restraining of structural parts to be displayed by the
following settings:
Xmin Frame number defining the foremost x coordinate of the displayed model. If checkbox not ticked,
frame number is set to the minimum frame number of the model.
Xmax Frame number defining the aftermost x coordinate of the displayed model. If checkbox not ticked,
frame number is set to the maximum frame number of the model.
Ymin Coordinate defining the outermost starboard y extension of the displayed model. If checkbox not
ticked, coordinate is set to the minimum y coordinate of the model.
Ymax Coordinate defining the outermost portside y extension of the displayed model. If checkbox not
ticked, coordinate is set to the maximum y coordinate of the model.
Zmin Coordinate defining the lowest z extension of the displayed model. If checkbox not ticked, coordinate
is set to the minimum z coordinate of the model.
Zmax Coordinate defining the highest z extension of the displayed model. If checkbox not ticked,
coordinate is set to the maximum z coordinate of the model.
The Structural Member filter list allows restraining structural parts to selected structural
members. The filter list has the following columns:
The Compartments and Structural Member filter list can be sorted by each column via
clicking on the column header. All items can be selected and deselected at once by a click
of the right mouse button at the filter list.
Figure 66: Context menu for select / deselect of all filter list items.
Note: Remember to select at least one Structural Member filter to create a view with
visible parts. The Compartments filter does not influence the visibility of the
structural members.
Note: The Bounding Box, Compartments and Structural Member filter lists are
interconnected. I.e. an activated bounding box filter restrains the compartment
and structural member filter list to those compartments and structural members
96 / 151
having structural parts lying in the active bounding box. An activated
compartment filter restrains the structural member filter list furthermore to
those structural members having structural parts belonging to the active
compartment(s).

4.2.1.6. Shortcuts
Pegasus provides the following keyboard shortcuts for the 3D model interaction:
Z Toggles a helper plane on/off that can be moved along the x-axis. The helper plane snaps
to frame or clip-range positions if available. Pressing <Shift> deactivates the snapping.
<Shift> Can be used to do some commands finely. E.g. pressing <Shift>+<Ctrl>+<Left> moves
the 3D model using a smaller step than <Ctrl>+<Left> alone.
W, A, S, D, E, X Moves the camera freely in the corresponding directions: forward, left, back, right, up,
down. Forward and back movements are available only in perspective view mode. The
velocity depends on the zoom value and may differ depending on the complexity of the
model and the power of the computer system. Moving directions can be combined.
Holding at least one of the keys you can use the mouse to change the direction of
movement by rotation of the camera.
F9 Move reading on structural part by drag and drop (press <CTRL> to move reading to
other structural part)
The view list shows properties of all readings defined on structural parts shown by the 3D
view. This list can be sorted by each reading property in ascending or descending order
with respect to each column by double clicking on the column header.
Selecting a row in the list will highlight the corresponding reading in the 3D view by an
arrow hint, selecting a reading in the 3D view will select the corresponding row in the
view list. Deletion of a row will delete the reading in the 3D view and vice versa.

Figure 70: Folder organization of views
Once a view is created, a reading can be created on any displayed structural part by left
mouse click after activating the reading creation mode in the 3D toolbar (see section
4.2.1.2.) The created reading will be displayed as small icon on the structural part and as
new row in the view list showing the referring properties of the reading. Depending on
the kind and spatial orientation of the structural part, different shapes of icon will be
used:
Readings are created with an undefined measured thickness value, indicated with a white
coloured icon and value UNDEF in the referring cell in the view list. After a reading is
created, the focus will be changed from the graphic to this cell to facilitate measurement
value entering. If a thickness value is entered for the reading, the icon will be coloured
according to the following scheme:
Figure 71: Colouring scheme for reading icons and structural parts
Readings can be deleted either by selecting the referring row in the view list and pressing
the DEL key or by activating the reading deletion mode in the 3D toolbar (see section
4.2.1.2.) and selecting the reading to be deleted in the graphic.
Readings can be moved within the referring structural part by activating the reading
movement mode in the 3D toolbar (see section 4.2.1.2.), selecting the reading in the
graphic and move it by drag and drop to the new position. If the <CTRL> key is pressed
during this operation, the reading can also be moved to any other structural part in the
graphic.

5. Results
Selecting Results from the project panel provides access to different lists comprising
readings with a degree of corrosion beyond predefined limits as well as a compartment
based statistic, see Figure 72. These lists are dynamic, i.e. they are updated every time a
new reading is entered.

5.4. ESP Assessment (Deprecated)
Note: This feature is deprecated since version 2.2.0 and only available for DNV users
having a special license file.
For ships carrying the class notation ESP (Enhanced Survey Program) a survey scope in
accordance to IMO-Resolution A.744(18) as amended is required. Notation ESP will be
assigned to oil tankers, chemical tankers, bulk carriers and combination carriers in
accordance to IACS UR Z11.
ESP requires among other things the determination of maximum and average thickness
diminution for defined locations and areas. Pegasus table-based functionality helps to
evaluate these statistical values from the recorded thickness measurements stored in the
thickness measurement tables. The ESP assessment is accessible as icon of the Result
panel and creates a window with input and output tab.
Depending on the ship type and survey cycle different locations and areas must by
inspected. The following locations and areas are supported:

may be calculated
The location of Transverse Section, Wind and Water Strakes, Superstructure Deck Plating
and Deck Plating and Under Deck Structure inside line of Cargo Hatch Cover will be
defined by the ESP assignment table shown in Table 2. For each of these ESP locations
the TM tables to be considered can be selected by a check box. Selecting TM tables for
different frames for the Transverse Section area will result in maximum and average
thickness diminution output for each frame.
The assignment table can be sorted with respect to a column by double clicking on the
column header. For instance all TM tables referring to a special frame can be easily
accessed by sorting the assignment table according to the frame number. Additionally
the assignment table can be filtered according to the ESP locations currently worked on.

For each ESP location as defined in Table 2 the maximum and average diminution in
terms of percentage to the original thicknesses (“ESP values”) are shown in the output
tab of the ESP assessment. The ESP results are grouped according to the defined
compartments, the transverse sections for each frame and the automatically created ESP
locations Keel Plate, Bottom Shell Plating, Bilge Plating, Side Shell Plating, Sheerstrake,
Strength Deck Plating, Stringer Plating. For each compartment the referring ESP values
of transverse webs (and adjacent structural members), shell frames and transverse
bulkheads are listed (see Figure 78 ).

Placing the mouse pointer over a cell of the “Areas” column will display a summary of the
considered TM table as tooltip. Additionally the ESP output table can be filtered according
to the different ESP locations:

The distribution of all tables included in the project file according their types is shown on
the right-hand side. Detailed information about the readings are summarized on the top
left hand side, see Figure 79. They are grouped according their degree of corrosion
(normal, substantial, renewal required) and suspect groups like Unknown (no maximum
allowable diminution available) and Negative (measured value exceeds original
thickness). Some general information like number of compartments and number of
available structural members and a file identification number (check sum) is shown as
well.
These statistic results will appear in section “Campaign Statistics” when a report is
created.

5.6. CAP Assessment
CAP assessment requires among other things a statistical assessment of the corrosion
condition of each compartment. Pegasus table-based functionality helps to evaluate
these statistical values from the readings recorded in the thickness measurement tables.
A prerequisite for this assessment is that the readings are assigned to the related
compartments (i.e. if a reading is located on a plate shared by two compartments it has
to be assigned to both front & reverse compartment, if stiffeners are shared by two
compartments the front compartment only, this is respectively the compartment where
measured. See Figure 80: CAP Assessment Front- & Reverse-Compartment

element within the compartment)
CAP 1, CAP 2, CAP 3, Percentage of all readings assigned to main structural element within the
CAP 4 compartment having CAP 1, 2, 3, 4 rating
Selecting a row in the table will display the degradation of the selected compartment by
different types of diagrams on three tabs:
122 / 151
etc. can be disabled by local toolbar (see Figure 81:
CAP Assessment).
Each diagram can be exported in .jpg format (by context menu) or all diagrams at once
via the local toolbar (see Figure 82: Local Toolbar for CAP Assessment)
Note: The CAP ratings are computed based on the original material thickness and the
measured thickness value. In case a renewed material thickness is given in
Readings or Hotspot list, this value will be used instead of the measured
thickness.
Note: The first row in the CAP results table provides the CAP statistic for “All readings”.
The number of readings stated here equals the sum of all readings taken but is
in general NOT equal to the sum of readings for the above listed compartments.
This is due to double assignment of readings to compartments.
All readings not assigned to any compartment are listed in the next to last row
named “Unassigned”.

The average diminution for Deck Zone, Neutral Axis Zone and Bottom Zone Area is
computed by
Whereas part dimension denotes the breadth of a plate, height of a stiffener web and
breadth of a stiffener flange.
Each “Frame Number” defined as frame station in TM-1, TM-2(i) and TM-2(ii) can be
assessed for longitudinal strength. The user decides in the “Frame Selection” panel which
of the available frame stations shall be investigated. For all selected frame stations the
readings of the above listed structural member types are collected and listed in cross
section tables:
Figure 83: Cross section table compiling all relevant readings for one frame
To compute the average diminution the user has to define the dimension of the related
structural parts for each reading. In case of plating related readings the user has to
define the plate breadth, in case of readings on stiffeners the user has to define the type
of the profile (Flat bar, L-profile, T-profile or Bulb-profile whereas the specific type of
Bulb-profile is defined by the global bulb profile type setting defined in the Main
Particulars menu) and the related web height and flange breadth.
In case of a bulb profile the user needs to select the web height from predefined heights
as defined by the industry standards for the specific bulb profile. If the web thickness
does not match with an industry standard (see Bulb Profile Industry Standards), the
related dimension cell is coloured light blue.
The web height defines the total height of the profile, the flange breadth the total
breadth of the profile (see sketch below). I.e. in case of prefabricated stiffeners the user
can directly use Iweb and Iflange from the profile specification, in case of stiffeners/girders
produced at the shipyard the user has to add the flange thickness to Iweb.
130 / 151
Figure 84: Stiffener declarations and their use in Pegasus
The original thickness of the structural part will be taken from the TM-tables. If no
structural part dimension is assigned to a reading in a cross section table, those readings
will be not considered in the average diminution computation. For stiffeners having a
flange like L and T profiles, the dimensions have to be given as semicolon separated
values:
If the “No. or Letter” for readings of the same structural member is identical, Pegasus
assumes that those readings belonging to the same structural part and displays all
readings belonging to these structural parts in indented, italic rows. The dimensions for
these structural parts have to be entered only once.
Figure 85: Multiple readings on plate A04 and stiffener C02
In the overview tab of the Longitudinal Strength assessment the average diminution of
the selected frames are shown. The average diminution for deck and bottom area as well
as the sum of deck and bottom area is listed. The average diminution is divided into plate
and stiffeners. Average diminution greater than 10% is indicated by red colorization.
Note: The average diminutions are computed based on the original material thickness
and the measured thickness value. In case a renewed material thickness is given
in Readings or Hotspot list, this value will be used instead of the measured
thickness.

6. Report Generation
TM reports can be generated by the Create report or Create final report icon of the
Results panel (see Figure 87).
If you want to create a Draft report, please use the “Create report” icon. For the final
report the “Create final report”. The final report gets a unique signature of the
PEGASUS file. For that reason, the PEGASUS file must be saved before. You can create as
many final reports as you want, but only the one that has the same unique signature as
the file can be uploaded to VERACITY cloud. After each new saving of the file a new final
report must be created. To submit the final documents to VERACITY cloud, select “Upload
final report to cloud”. See Section 6.2.
Selecting this menu opens a dialogue (see Figure 88) where the filename and path of the
report can be specified. “Save” creates a report in PDF format. By default, the report
contains all tables and corresponding figures existing in the project. The sequence of the
TM tables in the report is the same as under node TM Tables in the project tree.
Figure 88: "Save as" dialog for reports
Since PEGASUS version 2.6 PDF is the recommended export format. The old Rich Text
Format and Zipped Report are deprecated. Please use the PDF report format unless
something goes wrong.
To change the scope of the final report or to exclude all figures the “save as” dialog
provides the Options… command to generate a user defined report. Figure 89 shows a
sample scope selection dialog. It allows specifying which measurement tables are to be
included in the report. Specific tables can be excluded by unchecking the according
entries in the table. The order of tables in the report can also be changed by dragging
them in the list to specific positions.
If figures shall not be included in the report uncheck the Include figures option, if
figures shall be added before the referring tables (instead of behind) check the Figure
before table option, if tables shall be sorted according to their TM-type, check the Sort
by table type option.

6.2. Upload final report to cloud
Once you have entered all the data completely, the option to upload the report to the
DNV cloud will be activated (see Figure 90: Upload final report to cloud).
• PEGASUS connect file must be added to the project (see Main Particulars). If you
don’t have it, please contact your surveyor.
• Signature page must be signed and added to the project (see Campaign Details)
The Upload to cloud form looks like (see Figure 91: Create/Open final report). If you
have already prepared a valid final PDF report, you can open it with “Open final PDF
report” here. Else prepare a new one with “Create final PDF Report”.
138 / 151
After final PDF report is valid you can upload the necessary files to VERACITY cloud
service (see Figure 92: Ready to upload). Press the “Upload to DNV cloud” button.
PEGASUS creates 4 necessary files and opens the file explorer (see Figure 93: File
explorer with files to upload).
After login Drag & Drop the files from file explorer (see Figure 93: File explorer with files
to upload) to the Upload UTM Files page (see Figure 95: VERACITY UTM files upload
page).
140 / 151
If all is well received the web page looks as follows (see Figure 96: VERACITY UTM files
uploaded completely).
As final step, please inform your surveyor about the final uploaded report. (see Figure
97: Inform surveyor). With pressing the button “Send eMail to surveyor” PEGASUS tries
to prepare (depending on your security and the system settings) an email automatically.
If this did not work, please negate the following dialog, and send the email with the
generated text manually. After confirming all checks are green.
