STEP 7: Open solenoid connector and Check harness continuity for wire 533A from solenoid
connector to HECU For other wire- 535A in solenoid connector, check its continuity with
machine –ve supply. Correct if it is faulty and connect all connectors properly.
STEP 8: Switch ON Ignition and Check if DTC appears in Service Master Fault code. If it
appears, switch OFF Ignition and go to STEP 9 else go to STEP 2.
STEP 9: Open solenoid connector and check resistance across solenoid terminal. It should be
around 5.5 ohms. If open circuit found on solenoid coil, change Solenoid. Reconnect all
connectors and Switch ON Ignition. Reconnect Service Master and Check if DTC appears in
Service Master Fault code. It should not come now.

Troubleshoot Procedure
Important: Stop the engine and Do not start the engine during the service procedures.
STEP 1: Switch OFF ignition and Switch ON again. Reconnect Service Master and Check if
DTC appears in Service Master Fault code. If it appears go to STEP 3 else Go to STEP 2
STEP 3: Open solenoid connector and Check harness continuity for wire 533A from solenoid
connector to HECU and also check short circuit with ground for this wire. Correct if it is faulty
and connect all connectors properly.
STEP 4: Switch ON Ignition and Check if DTC appears in Service Master Fault code. If it
appears, switch OFF Ignition and go to STEP 5else go to STEP 2.
STEP 5: Open solenoid connector and check resistance across solenoid terminal. It should be
around 5.5 ohms. If short circuit detected on solenoid coil, change Solenoid. Reconnect all
connectors and Switch ON Ignition. Reconnect Service Master and Check if DTC appears in
Service Master Fault code. It should not come now.

STEP 1: Switch OFF ignition and Switch ON again. Reconnect Service Master and Check if
DTC appears in Service Master Fault code. If it appears go to STEP 3 else Go to STEP 2
STEP 3: Switch OFF ignition. Open HECU connector and check if there is any terminal back
out on any connector or loose fitting of connector on component. If there is no back out, Go to
STEP 7.
STEP 5: Properly reconnect the connector. A click sound will come once it is locked.
STEP 6: Switch ON Ignition and Check if DTC appears in Service Master Fault code. If it
appears, switch OFF Ignition and go to STEP 7 else go to STEP 2.
STEP 7: Open HECU Connector and Confirm the wire 803B neither Short circuit with neither
Gnd nor Machine body. Correct if it is faulty and connect HECU connector properly and ensure
5 volt is measured across 803B and 650B
STEP 8: Switch ON Ignition. Reconnect Service Master and Check if DTC appears in Service
Master Fault code. If it appears go to STEP 9 else go to STEP 2.
STEP 9: Change the HECU; Reflash the software in HECU, else go to STEP 2.
