A great holiday
Last spring, I went on holiday to London with my two best friends, Anna and Luca. We planned the trip for
months because we were very excited to visit the city. We travelled by plane from Belgrade. The flight was
about three hours, so it was not too long. When we arrived at the airport in London, we took a train to the city
centre. It was our first time in the UK, so everything felt new and interesting.
We stayed in a small hotel near Hyde Park. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. Every day,
we walked around the city and saw many famous places. We visited Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and the
London Eye. We also went to the British Museum, which was very big and full of interesting things. One day,
we took a red double-decker bus and felt like real Londoners! The weather was a bit rainy, but we didn’t mind
—we just brought our umbrellas.
We had a great time in London. We took many photos, ate delicious food, and bought some small souvenirs.
We were a little tired after walking so much, but very happy. We want to go back again one day!
