Content Development
A digital device is an electronic machine that processes information in binary digits (0s and
1s).
Types include:
1. Input Devices – e.g., keyboard, mouse, microphone, scanner (used to send data into a
computer).
2. Output Devices – e.g., monitor, printer, speakers, projector (used to display results).
3. Storage Devices – e.g., hard drive, USB flash drive, CD/DVD, memory card (used to keep
data permanently or temporarily).
4. Processing Devices – e.g., CPU, GPU (used to carry out calculations and control
operations).
Teacher's Activities: Explain each type of device using real examples; display pictures of
devices; demonstrate how they work.
Learners' Activities: Listen attentively, observe, take notes, classify devices into correct
categories, ask questions.
Evaluation
