Cmlite Operating Guide

The document provides information about the operation and configuration of the CM-LITE electronic board for automatically controlling parking doors. The board manages a motor connected to the door via a rack or chain and uses micro switches and a push button to control the movement of the door. The board includes programming options to control the opening time of the door and to allow or not allow stopping during movement.

CM-LITE OPERATION:
The function of the CM-LITE electronic board is to control a motor associated with a door.

CHARACTERISTICS OF INPUT SIGNALS AND CONTACTS:

The CM-LITE board has 4 input signals: command, micro closed door, micro
open door and entry photoelectric sensor (optional). The signals are taken from a point of
board ground (terminals 2, 3, and '-' of the control strip in fig. 1) and return to the input
corresponding through the device contact (earth return); for which the
contacts should be of the normal open and 'dry' type (not generating any kind of tension).

that works on the door of a house or villa: prevents the door from remaining open
more time than necessary and if you add setting the S2 selector to 'ON', this allows that
the door should be stopped while opening. The user will have absolute control over the movement
of the door. Other recommended programs for parking gates

GENERAL TIMER:
The electronic boards ofCODIPLUGare protected by a TIMER
GENERAL that shuts off the engine after 45 continuous seconds of operation. If the
the door is very long and requires more time, the bridge indicated as P1 must be cut in the
fig. 1(change the timer to 90 seconds). The general timer prevents that in case of
failure of one of the graduation project micros, the engine continues to work for a while
undefined which could cause damage to the motor, the door, or the electronic panel.

PHOTOELECTRIC CELL HANDLING:

This option included in all CM-LITE dashboards allows for the installation of a sensor or
photoelectric cell. Photoelectric cells are electronic devices that allow
detect the presence of an obstacle in the middle of the door's path. The option has
associated with the L6 indicator light (see fig. 1 for location) which is activated when there is a
present obstacle and consists of a circuit that acts when the door is closing (since the
same instant that starts) and returns the door when an obstacle cuts the beam of light
infrared.
Likewise, if the door is open and the beam of light is cut, the timer resets to zero.
The door remains open like this until you have freed it.
If the door is standing ajar and an obstacle is cutting the beam of light, if the board
receives a command, instead of closing warns the obstacle and opens.
I don't act when the door is opening or closing.
The photoelectric sensor must have normally open contacts (just like the
the rest of the inputs of the electronic board), such as the CF-88 photoelectric sensor
CODIPLUG (RECOMMENDED).

TECHNICAL DETAILS:
ENGINE MANAGEMENT:
The CM-LITE board in its basic version is designed to drive a four motor.
cables with a starter plate. These motors consist of two coils: one of
work, which must be energized with 110Vac or 220Vac at all times of
travel of the door and other start of rotation, which indicates the direction of rotation of the motor and
it should only be energized during the launch time of the platina. For functionality of
design, the CM-LITE board keeps both coils energized at all times
door travel. This is achieved by the CM-LITE board using two relays, one for operation or
of power which, when activated, passes the current to the motor (it is a single-pole relay and
15Amp@120Vac) and another for inversion or rotation (it is a double pole relay and 8Amp@120Vac) which
when activated, it changes the polarity of the voltage at the terminals of the starter coil of the
motor.
It is important to differentiate both coils before installing the board to the engine, because if in
at the time of installation, the double pole relay (reverse) would be passing the
current to the motor and would considerably decrease the lifespan of the relay.
