ELECTRONIC DIESEL CONTROL

Reading of fault codes

1.- With voltage applied through the ignition key,
press the diagnostic switch for 0.5 to 3 seconds.
2.- Through blinks in the diagnostic lamp, the
EDC Shows the stored fault codes,
Long blinks (1 second) indicate the tens.
Short blinks (0.3 seconds) indicate the units.
3.- If there are no fault codes, the lamp turns on with
fixed brightness for 4 seconds.

Clearing of fault codes

1.- Remove the tension with the ignition key
2. Press the button and apply tension with the ignition key
3.- While continuing to press the button, apply tension with a wrench.

Stage 1.- The functionality of light emitting diodes, buzzer, is verified, No,
part of command unit, No. of coded plug part and failure codes.
All fault codes are displayed and when the buzzer sounds, it is repeated again.
They repeat, the fault codes are indicated and how many times they have occurred.

Stage 2.- The micro switches of the clutch pedal are controlled; when pressed
the clutch pedal, the activation of the micro switch is displayed on the screen
superior and inferior.
3rd phase.- The functionality of the microswitches is verified; when it is moved the
lever, on the screen symbols appear that correspond to a micro switch
in particular; remember that when a speed is applied, three must be closed

Stage 4 - The functionality of solenoid valves and signals is controlled.
