The Atrium: in this there were 2 pieces of furniture, one was the Altar of
Sacrifices and the other was the Lavacro
Holy Place: Table of the Showbread / Proposition, the Candlestick and the
Altar of Incense.
Holy of Holies: Ark of the Covenant.

1.2. Describe what each piece of furniture represents.

The Altar of Sacrifices: represents Jesus and the sacrifice made


towards humanity.
The Lavacro: Represents the purification of sin through the
baptism.
The Table of the Breads: They represent Jesus as the Bread of Life.
The Candelabrum: It represents Jesus as the Light of the World and the
oil to the Holy Spirit.
The Altar of Incense: They are the representation of prayers that
they ascend to heaven, the intercession and merits of Christ.
Ark of the Covenant: The new covenant of God with man
commandments)

2. Draw a scale model of the sanctuary, the atrium, and the position of everything.

3. How many coverings were over the sanctuary?

The Sanctuary was covered by four different layers.
