Chapter 1: Introduction to Computer
A computer is an electronic device that receives data, processes it, and produces output. In Somali:
Kombiyuutar waa aalad elektaroonik ah oo qaadata xog, farsameysa xogtaas, kadibna soo saarta
natiijo.
Chapter 2: Definition
A computer can be defined as an electronic device that can accept data (input), process it
according to instructions, store it, and give results (output). Af-Soomaali: Kombiyuutar waxaa lagu
qeexi karaa aalad elektaroonik ah oo qaadan karta xog, u shaqeysa sida loo baray, xogta kaydiso,
kadibna soo saarta jawaab.
Chapter 3: History of Computer
The first modern computer was created in 1938 by Konrad Zuse in Germany. Later developments in
the USA and UK brought about powerful machines during the 1940s. Af-Soomaali: Kombiyuutarkii
ugu horreeyay waxaa sameeyay Konrad Zuse, Germany sanadkii 1938.
Chapter 4: Basic Micro Computer
A microcomputer is a small, relatively inexpensive computer with a microprocessor as its central
processing unit (CPU). Af-Soomaali: Microcomputer waa kumbiyuutar yar oo jaban, kaas oo
processor yar ka yahay maskaxda ugu weyn.
Chapter 5: What does a Computer consist of?
A computer consists of two main parts: Hardware and Software. Hardware are the physical parts
you can touch (keyboard, monitor, etc.). Software are the programs and instructions that make the
hardware work. Af-Soomaali: Kombiyuutar wuxuu ka kooban yahay laba qaybood: qalab
(hardware) iyo barnaamij (software).
Chapter 6: Types of Computer
There are many types of computers, but the most common ones are Personal Computers (PCs),
Laptops, Tablets, and Smartphones.
Chapter 7: Classification of Computer Devices
1. Input Devices: Keyboard, Mouse, Scanner 2. Output Devices: Monitor, Printer, Speakers 3.
Storage Devices: Hard Drive, USB, CD/DVD
