A. Open, safety and tag these circuit breaker(s):

B. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the safety pins are in position and that you can see their red marker flags.

(2) On the center instrument panels, on the LDG GEAR section on the panel 404VU/VM, put a
WARNING NOTICE to prevent landing gear operation.
(3) Make sure that the safety devices are installed on the landing gears.
(4) Make sure that the safety barriers are in position.
(5) Before you do the operation, tell the personnel in the adjacent area.
(6) Make sure that the hydraulic power is isolated and the safety pins are in position before you make
an adjustment.
(7) On the ground service panel, put a WARNING NOTICE in position to tell not to pressurize the
hydraulic systems.

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Lift the MLG on jacks Ref. MP ATR-A-07-12-XX-00ZZZ-172Z-A.
(2) Open access door(s):
195LL.
(3) Remove the safety stop from the EMER/PARK brake accumulator-discharge-valve, and release the
hydraulic pressure.
(4) Make sure that the brake accumulator gauge shows the nitrogen precharge only.

A. Remove the MLG wheel/tire assembly Ref. MP ATR-A-12-37-32-00ZZZ-520Z-A.

B. Remove the temperature transducer Ref. MP ATR-A-32-42-50-01ZZZ-520Z-A.

C. Removal of the MLG Brake
(1) Disconnect the hydraulic pipes (2) from the brake inlet port.
(2) Install the protective cap to the hydraulic pipes (2), and seal the inlet port of the MLG brake (1).
(3) Remove the MLG brake (1).
