CHAPTER – 1

INTRODUCTION

 As a part of Business Administration, it is intended that the student should undergo one month practical

training in a reputed company as to acquire the managerial skills and to grasp some of the aspects of

management that beyond theoretical study.

 An organization is a social unit which is deliberately constructed and reconstruct to seek specific goals.

 This report is about that AVN construction, Marthandam The company mainly produced as the

Furniture.

 Organizational study is an effect towards understanding the organization its policy structure and

methodology adopted

 It gives as brief description of the overall functioning of the company or organization.

 Organizational study is “the examination of how individuals construct organizational structures,

process and practices and how these, in turn, shape social relations and create institutions that ultimately

influence people”.

 Organizational study major provides both a basic understanding of the field as well as enhancing your

ability to purse more specialized career intersects.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

 To understand the structure and functioning of the organization.

 To understand that delegation of authority and responsibility.

 To know and study when is activities involved in the organization.

 To understand the production process of organization.

 To identify the strength and weakness of the organization.


Limitations of the study

 To times span of the project was very limited to collect all the information.

 To study covers only limited aspects.

 The official were reluctant to give complete data as involves from social secrecy

 The trainee has not enough time to complete the study.

 The employees of the AVN construction were not allowed to brief details of production process.
