Module 1: AutoCAD Basics & Interface (2 Hours)

• Introduction to AutoCAD & its industry relevance

• Navigating the interface, workspace, and UI customization

• AutoCAD coordinate system and drawing settings

• Fundamental drawing commands (line, circle, rectangle, arc)

Module 2: 2D Drawing & Modifications (5 Hours)

• Drawing techniques: polyline, spline, fillet, chamfer

• Modify tools: trim, extend, offset, rotate, mirror, scale

• Object snaps, layers, line types, colors, and properties

• Annotation: text, dimensioning, leaders, and hatching

Module 3: Advanced 2D Techniques (3 Hours)

• Blocks and dynamic blocks with attributes

• External references (Xrefs) and group usage

• Parametric constraints for design precision

• Template creation and design reuse techniques

Module 4: 3D Modeling & Visualization (5 Hours)

Sample Projects
These are sample projects only. Unique capstone projects will be
discussed in the live class

In the Capstone Project, students will be required to design and present a

fully detailed 2D or 3D model based on industry-specific guidelines. This

project will showcase their skills in drafting, modeling, and visualization, and

will be a valuable addition to their professional portfolio.
