Answer: In my free time I usually read book and listen to comedy podcast.

Answer: I don’t like playing beach volleyball because the sand is not a good place to fall in.

Answer: I usually use it to take photos, calls and send messages.

Answer: I´m not sure, but I think it should be like 15 or 20 hours a week.
What do people usually do in facebook/Spotify/Whatsapp/Youtube?
Answer: Personally, I used them to watch memes, listen to music, send messages and watch
funny videos, all of this in my smart phone.

Answer: She/he is tall, blond, handsome, he has an orange t-shirt and a red cap.

Answer: Yes, I have one brother called Yves, he is 12.

Answer: I am taller, lazier, and slimmer than my brother.

Answer: In my bedroom there is a bed, a table, a laptop, a lot of pencils, some pictures and
some notebooks.
What is your most favorite room in your house and why?

Answer: My bedroom, because it is my place and I feel good there.

Do you have enough (pillows/sheets/mirrors, drawers/shelves/rubbish bins) pillows in your room?

Answer: No, I just have one. But I have 2 rubbish bins, one in my room and one in the
bathroom.

Who washed the dishes in your house last night?
Answer: Last night I was the one who washed them.
Who cleaned your house yesterday?
Answer: Who didn´t help cleaning your house? My mom cleaned yesterday; my little brother is
the one who never helps.
How did the people use to transport from one place to another in the year 1800?

Answer: The people of those times used to move in horses and camels.

UNIT 3.2
Can you tell me 3 places in downtown Macuspana?
Answer: The Benito Juarez Park, the restaurant los Portales, and some public schools.
Why do people go to the park/bank/city hall/bus station/stadium (Park)?

Answer: Because they like to socialize and get fun.

Due to what the Transportation of Macuspana is equipped with air conditioner? Is it?

Answer: I didn’t notice, I don’t know but what a good notice

UNIT 4.1
What is your favorite food?

Answer: My favorite food is the red spaghetti and enchiladas

When was the last party you had? Where it was?

Answer: It was like one month ago and it was in Villahermosa

What did you eat and drink in that party?

Answer: Lots of bottles of soda, I remember that in that party we ate spaghetti and tortitas,
there was also a delicious cake.

What is your favorite restaurant in Macuspana/Villahermosa?

Answer: In Macuspana it is los portales, and in Villahermosa my favourite is vips and MX

Gourmet.
What´s the most important in a restaurant: fast service, delicious food, low prices or nice
atmosphere?

Answer: All of that is important, but for me, the most important things are the quality of the
food and the fast service.
Describe a bad or terrible experience in a restaurant?

Answer: The waiter accidentally threw a little of tea in my legs, it was horrible.
UNIT 5.1
If you have flu/got your knee injured/headache/toothache/fever/ you should go to the doctor?

Answer: Yes, of course, because they can give you something to feel better

When was the last time you went to the doctor?

Answer: It was like 3 or 4 months ago. I had to go because I injured my left arm.

How does the nurse help the doctor? She gives him the things that he needs to help the patient.

UNIT 5.2
How often do you do exercise? Do you practice soccer? 4 to 5 times a week, and no, actually I am
not practicing any sport, just doing exercise.
Why do you think it is important to do exercise? Exercise is indispensable if you want to have a
healthy lifestyle, a good condition and look nice, no matter what you wear, with a good body
you will look nice.

What would you recommend on a diet, a chocolate-covered cake or a low-fat cake? It depends of
your goals, but obviously the chocolate cake may not be part of any kind of diet, so if it is
possible avoid it.
UNIT 6
Which means of transportation do people use when they travel from Macuspana to
Vhsa/Cuba/the park? The transportation used to travel from place to place is the car, bicycle,
plane and helicopter.

How did you come to the school yesterday, by plane/submarine? Usually, I go to school by rocket.

visited “La Silla” mountain.

seen any wild animal in my life.

Do you know how to swim? Yes, It´s easy.

Have you ever swum in the river Puxcatan/Gulf of Mexico? Have you ever taken swimming
classes? Yes, the last year, the water is too cold.

Why fencing/golf/hockey is not generally practiced here in Macuspana? Because there is no

people that know how to play it.

Describe 4 feelings, 2 positive and 2 negative ones. Happiness, Cheerfulness, Sadness and
Lonelyness.

What actions or situations make you feel upset/nervous/anxious/disappointed? When I am

walking in the street and I see a black suburban going to me or when there is someone who
looks sick and I´m afraid of get sick too.
UNIT 8
Tell me 3 obbligations you have to do in the school? My obligations in school are to pay
attention to the teacher, make the homework and take notes in my notebook.

What do you think of the next rule "Students can use Facebook when the teacher is speaking?" I
think it should not be forbidden, I believe in the conscience and the prudence of the
students that come to the school with the will of learning new things.

What is the most difficult subject in the school for you and why? For me, the history is the most
difficult subject because you have to memorize a lot of dates an the name of important
events.

Tell me 3 jobs or occupations that you consider the most exciting/dangerous/interesting? Pilot,
English teacher, and Astronaut.

Why you need to go to the university to work as an engineer/doctor? I don’t need to, but those
professions are the most essential for a functional society.

Why experience is important to be a good mechanic/black-smith/carpenter? Because, those

occupations are very technic and you need experience to use your own hands.

UNIT 9
Do you think technology or computers are important for our present life? Why? Yes, because it
makes our live times and times easier.

What do you think of the 3d-printers/internet 5.0/augmented reality/electric cars? The 4th industrial
revolution is coming with amazing technologies that are going to change the way we work,
study, move, generate energy, organize and maybe think, it will also put in the discussion
table new moral dilemmas’ and political actions like universal basic income.

Have you used android applications to learn English? Which one? Yes, Duolingo, Google
traductor, and some stories in English.

What´s the weather like in Tabasco? It is too hot.

Tell me 1 action that pollutes the air, one that pollutes the water and 1 that pollutes the earth. Drive
a car that consume gasoline, and the water it is pollute when we take a shower.

What actions can you personally do to help the environment in your town? Recycle the bottles,
buy an electric car, take care of the water.
UNIT 10
If you had the opportunity to travel to another country, which country would you go? I would go to
Japan or Canada, because those are the countries I want to visit to see their cultures, the
technologies, practice my English, French and learn Japanese.

If a Canadian tourist were in Macuspana, where would you recommend him to stay/visit? To watch
the nature and the rivers.

What kind of music do you prefer the most? Why? I listen to all kinds of music, but my favorite
is Alternative Rock, Classical Music and Lo-fi beats.

Which festival from the 8 music festivals in the lesson would you prefer to go and why? The one I
prefer to go is EDC MX and maybe Tomorrowland.
