1. Dress & Gear
• Official Trek T-shirt: Wear your trek T-
shirt. It is designed for comfort and
blends well with the natural
surroundings.
• Trousers: Strictly wear full, comfortable
pants to avoid rashes from sharp grass &
thorns. Wearing shorts not allowed.
• Footwear: Make 100% sure to wear
comfortable, solid-grip shoes. Pair them
with thick, breathable socks (keep an
extra pair) to prevent blisters & bites.
• Chest Bib: Always wear your bib on the
chest from start to finish.

2. Backpack Essentials
• Keep it light: Avoid overloading. Carry
only essentials.
• Water Bottle: Stay hydrated. Carry water
bottle (provided in your goodie bag). Use
refill points along the route.
• Snacks: Carry light, energy-boosting
snacks like dry fruits, energy bars, or
bananas.
• Rain Cover: In case of unpredictable
weather, a light poncho or backpack
cover can be useful.
• First Aid: Carry your personal medicines
in case of emergency (eg: asthma pump).

3. Safety & Conduct
• Group Trekking: Always trek in groups.
Avoid trekking alone for safety.
• Route Signs: Follow the route markers,
signs, and flags.
• No Music: Playing music over speakers or
Bluetooth is strictly prohibited.
• Headphones: Do not use headphones as
they cut you o from surroundings and
instructions.
• NO Perfumes & Deos: We don’t want to
attract insects & animals around

4. Eco-Responsibility
• Zero Trash Policy: Do not litter. Carry all
trash (wrappers, bottles, tissues) in your
bag and dispose of them only at the
designated bin stations.
• Loo Etiquette: Use only the provided loo
stations on the route. Do not defecate or
urinate in open nature spaces.
• Respect Nature: Avoid plucking flowers,
disturbing plants, or harming wildlife.

5. Health & Wellbeing
• Warm-up: Stretch before starting to
avoid cramps.
• Pace Yourself: Walk steadily, do not rush.
Listen to your body.
• Breaks: Take short breaks when needed,
but avoid blocking the trail for others.
• Medical Help: Medical assistance and
volunteers will be available on the route.
Do not hesitate to ask for help.
• Emergency Support: Contact the nearest
volunteer or marshal if you feel unwell or
face di culty.

6. General Guidelines
• Start Together, End Together: Follow the
scheduled timings for start and finish.
• Respect Volunteers: Follow instructions
given by marshals, coordinators, and
volunteers at all times.
• Photography: O cial photos will be
provided. Avoid clicking too many
pictures, focus on safe and enjoyable
trekking experience.
• Positive Spirit: Encourage fellow
trekkers, especially first-timers.
Trekathon is about unity, health, and joy.
