Career prospects for BCA degree holders
The IT sector is a major employment provider in the country and it is expected
to grow in the upcoming years. Due to this, the need for IT professionals have
grown significantly. The BCA Degree courses are focused on training the
students in programming, networking, developing, etc. This field is ideal for
those who are not hesitant to work hard and always willing to learn. It may
surprise you to know that a three year BCA degree can provide equal value as
a 4 year B.Tech degree.
The scope of BCA is really vast and this degree course is ideal to learn about
some interesting subjects such as computer programming, computer
networking, mathematics, software engineering and Database Management
Systems. Apart from these core compulsory subjects, one can also choose to
learn any of the wide variety of subjects for studies.
Career for a BCA Graduate:
1. Numerous organizations, companies and MNC’s offer jobs to BCA
candidates. Some of these top MNC’s that hire BCA graduates are Infosys,
TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, HCL Technologies, Capgemini etc.
2. A BCA graduate has a great scope in jobs as a Web Designer, System
Manager, Software Developer, Computer Programmer, Web Developer,
Software Developer, software tester, etc. depending on the skills acquired by
the student at the time of BCA.
3. With a BCA Degree, one can earn a decent salary even at the beginning of
their career. The only precondition is that the student should have some
practical knowledge to carry out the job responsibilities.
Q-2) Make a copy of question -1 paragraph and perform the following
operations (Take printout )
a) Apply toggle case on the heading of the paragraph
b) Find the word bca in the document
c) Replace the word BCA with MCA in the document
d) Place bullets in place of numbers in the document
e) Split the whole text in two columns
