Introduction
Many more patients, especially those who have difficulty regaining their health, can
benefit from therapy offered via new and better means such as Telehealth, which shortens the
distance between the clinic and the patient. Telehealth will make it feasible for individuals to
obtain healthcare more reliably and quickly. Patients can communicate with the hospital via
video and digital technologies without having to physically visit the institution (Heath, 2018).
Since this industry has so much potential, I've decided to commit myself to it, believing that with
sufficient utilization, everyone will have access to medical treatment. During this global
pandemic of COVID-19, the widespread usage of telehealth has lowered the risk of exposure to
COVID-19.
There is a very good chance that in the not-too-distant future, a larger number of
businesses and individuals will make use of this technology. The amount of time spent searching
for an inpatient institution will be reduced because to telehealth, which will have a positive
impact on patient outcomes. Both the financial burden and the mental stress that come along with
frequent trips to the doctor can be alleviated by providing patients with access to a selection of
medical specialists who will come to their homes. The patients' capacity to make decisions on
their own healthcare and to get treatment that is tailored to their own preferences and needs is
closely related to the patients' overall health and well-being.
As part of my investigation on telehealth, I visited a variety of primary and secondary
sources to get information on how to enhance the safety and quality of medical treatment. For the
purpose of gathering information, qualitative research rather than quantitative research was
carried out because there was no experiment. Four peer reviewed articles were used for this

research. For the benefit of anyone who might be interested in exploring more into this result,
we have included a bibliography with comments as well as a list of references. This inquiry
required the use of four different databases; the ones listed above proved to be the most
beneficial. The popularity of these databases throughout the nursing community was a major
factor in my decision to pick them (Alvandi, 2017). The instructions for using them were easy to
follow, and the criteria for making the pick were not complicated. As a direct result of this, the
ranking was determined according to factors like credibility, trustworthiness, and reliability.

Alvandi, M. (2017). Telemedicine and its Role in Revolutionizing Delivery of Healthcare.
The American Journal of Accountable Care, 5(1), e1-e5.
Telehealth was the subject of a 2017 article written by Dr. Maryam Alvandi, who shows
how it has had a substantial influence on the delivery of medical treatment. All of the important
knowledge on telemedicine would not exist without this study's support. Telemedicine is
expected to play an important role in the future of healthcare, both in terms of preserving the
current healthcare models and developing new ones. The study was nevertheless useful since it
addressed the possible role that telemedicine may play in the future of healthcare and because it
expected a better level of patient engagement in their own treatment and convenience. In
addition, the study predicts that the interconnectedness of healthcare practitioners and
stakeholders will lead to more advancements in the business. It is important to remember that
patient privacy and confidentiality are key to the delivery of medical treatment and are handled
by telemedicine. These three basic concepts underline this relevance. In addition, telemedicine
addresses concerns about patient confidentiality and privacy. In order to make it easier for you to

understand and appreciate what we are trying to explain to you, we have reduced everything into
a few short paragraphs. The general public will have access to further details as well.
Fathi, J. T., Scott, J. D., & Modin, H. E. (2017). Nurses are advancing telehealth and
telemedicine services in the era of healthcare reform. The Online Journal of Issues
in Nursing (OJIN), 22(2).
Due to the fact that it was aimed towards the nurses who were the focus of my research, I
found that this was one of the most helpful research tools that I employed. Its purpose was to
analyze and advance the existing state of the technology behind telehealth. This research, which
was carried out throughout the process of healthcare reform, discovered a number of strategies to
reduce waste, increase productivity, and assure uniformity. Patients stand to profit as well from
improved results. It demonstrates how telehealth has become widely used in the United States,
both in hospitals and in outpatient settings, and how much the nursing profession has contributed
to the growth and development of telehealth. This is an important accomplishment because it
shows how much the nursing profession has contributed to the growth and development of
telehealth. The importance of achieving success in this domain cannot be overstated. The topic of
nursing was the primary emphasis of the presentation, which was intended to be a discussion of
how telehealth operates in the modern world and how nurses play a vital role in it.
Arkwright, B. T. (2018). A Reliable Approach for Sustainable Telehealth Partnerships.
Telehealth and Medicine Today, 1(4). doi:10.30953/tmt. v1.91
In a recent article by Arkwright (2018), the technique through which telehealth may be
used to ensure sustainability is explained in great detail. Many healthcare models are
summarized in the study to show how the use of technology may either widen or reduce the
variety of healthcare alternatives available to patients. Partnerships appear to be critical to the

future success or failure of telehealth, according on the findings of these studies. The whole
healthcare community, including both practitioners and stockholders, must be aware of this
issue. Relationships between patients, their caregivers, and healthcare professionals who are
actively involved in telehealth are at the heart of this topic, and they will be the emphasis of this
section. Similar to Alvandi (2017)'s research, the success of telehealth collaboration and
connection are essential components for developing a system that is operational, advantageous
and useful for all patients who use it. An excellent resource for examining the impact of various
healthcare alliances on telemedicine, specifically the ability of these alliances to either make
telemedicine less efficient or more successful was supplied by this article

According to Heath, patient participation has shown support for healthcare innovation in
a way that cannot be ignored. With the help of healthcare specialists, the essay investigates the
significance of technology in promoting medical research advancements. In spite of this,
telehealth is not mentioned. Due to its importance in funding as well as how various medical
innovations, including telehealth services, are implemented into existing healthcare practices,
Medicaid was included in the project even though it was only focused on technology. Despite the
fact that this was a technology-only initiative, this was done. Traditional healthcare advocates
may struggle to accept that telehealth is a form of healthcare since they want to advocate for
traditional treatment. Using patient-focused technology like telemedicine, Medicaid innovations
may be boosted and health providers face a fascinating challenge. This resource demonstrates
these new solutions. One typical example of technology is telehealth.

Conclusion
Because it is highly unlikely that telehealth will fall out of favor anytime soon, the best
course of action is to educate oneself on the practice and begin integrating it into standard
medical practices as soon as possible. It is possible, based on the fact that the services were
useful in carrying out the analysis, to draw the conclusion that the services described in the
report are pertinent. The topic of healthcare is significant enough to guarantee that all pertinent
data is included in the survey findings, which were required to concentrate on outcomes that can't
be analyzed. This was necessary because of the nature of the survey. As a result of this, we
supplemented our traditional news item research with qualitative research in order to find
relevant information. Because of the databases, it became more simpler and more expedient to
zero down on certain qualities, which allowed for a more expedient technique of identification
and discovery. Workers in the healthcare industry should stop arguing against the growth of
telehealth and instead embrace the fact that it is here to stay and become accustomed to it. As
soon as a compromise has been reached, it is in the best interest of all parties involved to move
on from the issue and acknowledge what has already taken place.
