World’s Top 10 Tourism Destinations
1. Dubai, United Arab Emirates
It is one of the best travel destinations to visit if you are planning to go on
a vacation. There are so many tourists spots that you can pick like
sightseeing on the top of Burj Khalifa, watching a show at the Dubai
Opera, and if you are one of those adventurous types, experience riding
an ATV at the dessert along with the camels or go to Dubai Marina,
Skydive where you can dine in while being suspended on an open-air
platform 165 feet (50 meters) in the air.
2. Paris, France
A city that is associated with romance, art, culture, and fashion, is one the
most popular destinations in the world. So many people, especially
couples, travel worldwide to visit Paris, also known as the “city of love”,
which is perfect for a honeymoon. It has many popular attractions like the
Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, one of the most famous museums in the
world.
3. Phuket, Thailand
Thailand’s largest island which is very popular with beach lovers and
serious divers who enthusiastically submerge themselves in the Andaman
Sea. Watersports are the most popular activity here and once you had
enough, there are still plenty of places to explore like aquariums, gardens,
and Buddhist temples.
4. Bali, Indonesia
Bali has a great many attractive features to its culture and island that
make it stand out from the rest of the world. There are popular for their
creativity and beautiful artistry like paintings, sculpture, and jewelry whose
designs come straight out of their culture.
5. Rome, Italy
The reason why Rome became one of the popular tourist destinations is
because of its classical and ancient history especially of how many of
those landmarks have been preserved such as both the Colosseum and
Pantheon.
6. Barcelona, Spain
It is a very beautiful city, popular for its extraordinary past, traditions,
architecture, insane monuments, museums, galleries, and amusing
people. Antoni Gaudi one of the most famous architect in Spain which
known for his work, the “Sagrada Familia” and “Casa Mila” which is very
popular attractions because of their unique design and structure.
Barcelona is also very popular for those people who love football.

Hanoi is very rich when it comes to culture. Its also home to around 15
fascinating museums, focusing on everything from fine art to traditional
medicine and even the role of Vietnamese women throughout history. This
city is also known for its lively street food where you can try delicious local
delicacies and ancient recipes.

Cairo is deemed fascinating amongst tourists because of its exotic
architectural wonders. From its popular sky-high pyramids to ancient
mosques and majestic citadels to tall statues, there are hundreds of spots
in the city where you can find yourself lost in the magnificent incredible

city is known for its floating markets which are very popular with tourists
because of its unique shopping where you buy goods while being carried
by boat.

New York city is very popular for its many incredible landmarks and
attractions, you can find much jaw-dropping architecture like the empire
state building and the flatiron building. The city of New York is a melting
pot of cultures, so it’s no surprise that its food is diverse as its people’s.
If you are to be the UNWTO secretary general or the DOT secretary, what possible
laws can you propose to ensure tourism sustainability in the Philippines?
If I were to be the UNWTO or DOT secretary, I will propose a law that will protect
the environment, preservation of archeological sites, and promote culture and traditions.
Firstly, the environment is recognized as a major resource for tourism. There are two
types of environment which are natural environment and built environment, natural
environment exists in nature while the built environment is man-made. If the
environment is well protected, there is a chance of finding a place that is well-
maintained and will become a tourist attraction in the future. Secondly, the preservation
of archeological sites is very important in sustaining tourism. A well-maintained
archeological site full of history can be very attractive to the tourist and it will help to
increase the value of the said place.
Lastly, promoting the culture and traditions can also help the Philippines to sustain
tourism. It will help the tourist to fully understand and adapt if they know the culture of
the place, by doing this, it will become easy for the tourist to enjoy their stay and also
attract them to come back again next time.
