The most important thing in advance:
This crochet pattern for the majestic bald eagle Anila is worked in continuous spi-
ral rounds without crocheting a chain stitch at the beginning and a slip stitch at the
end of the round. The number in the curly brackets { } indicates how many stitches
should be crocheted at the end of the round.

between the 3rd and 4th rows and leave about 7-8 stitches free at the top bet-

Beak
1) Crochet 3 chain with yellow. {3}
2) Skip 1 st, (1 sl st, 2 sc), (1 hdc, 1 dc). Fo and pull the loop through. Sew the
beak in the centre of the head at the front so that the beak bends downwards.
You can embroider a small top over the beak (see photos). {5}
Eyes
2 tiny black beads (2mm diameter) are sein on at the 3.
Row with 6 stitches distance on the head. Around the
eyes are embroidered with 3 stitches, a yellow ring.

The wings are crocheted in rows.
1) Crochet 10 ch with dark brown . {10}

6) Fo, Pull the Loop through. Thread the yarn back to the beginning of the wing.
7) Sew on the wings on the right and left in the middle of the body height and di-
rectly after the head.
