Title: Learning Action Cell (LAC) Proposal on Performance
Management and Evaluation Standards (PMES) for Teachers
I. Introduction
Performance management and evaluation are essential processes
in ensuring high-quality teaching and professional growth among
educators. This Learning Action Cell (LAC) session aims to enhance
teachers’ understanding of performance evaluation standards, foster a
culture of continuous improvement, and equip educators with strategies
to enhance their teaching effectiveness. This LAC session on
Performance Management and Evaluation Standards for Teachers is
designed to foster a culture of excellence and accountability in teaching.
Through this initiative, teachers will be better equipped to reflect on their
practices, embrace feedback constructively, and continuously improve
their performance for the benefit of their students and the broader
school community.
II. Objectives
1. To familiarize teachers with the school’s performance evaluation
system and relevant frameworks.
2. To promote a reflective practice among teachers regarding their
teaching methodologies and student outcomes.
