perceptions of the different resources of media and information.

2. Describe the key elements of visual design including line, shape, value, texture, color, and form.
3. Differentiate between formally and informally produced visual media and give examples of each.
4. Explain the purposes of visual information in gaining attention, creating meaning, and facilitating retention.
5. Analyze various visual media by applying the principles of visual design such as balance, contrast, harmony, and rhythm to interpret their effectiveness.
6. Create a visual composition that incorporates at least three visual design elements and principles to effectively convey a specific idea or emotion.
7. Appreciate the role of visual information and media in enhancing communication and learning by actively engaging with and valuing different forms of visual
media.
