The Importance of reading books (Story)

The afternoon rain had Leo feeling restless. He found an ancient-looking book tucked away in a dusty
corner of his attic, its velvety red cover adorned with golden letters that seemed to shimmer. As he
read the first few lines, the words blurred and with a sudden rush, he found himself on a medieval
battlefield, a brave knight facing a colossal, fire-breathing dragon. His journey continued as the pages
turned. He navigated treacherous seas as a cunning pirate, then donned a spacesuit to explore a galaxy
filled with shimmering nebula. He realized the book was a key to endless adventures, and his own
imagination was the greatest playground of all.

Subject: Change in mode of transport

Respected Sir
This is to state that I am a student of class VIII of your school. I am writing this letter to request for a
change in my mode of transport.
Until now, I have been coming to school by myself, but to increase in the number of road accidents and
the presence of street dogs on my way have left me scared. I face a lot of challenges on my way to the
school and upon returning from school. I would like to avail the school bus facility from the upcoming
month.

Therefore, I request you respected Sir to allow me to shift from Self to School bus. I will be extremely
thankful to you if you consider my request.

Thanking you

Yours obediently
Frosty
