Raman’s family ordered 3 pizzas. Each pizza was cut into 8 equal slices.
Raman ate 5 slices.
Radhika ate 7 slices.
Their friend Shami ate 9 slices.
Questions:
A. Out of the total slices of pizza, what fraction of pizza did Raman eat?

B. Who ate more pizza – Raman or Radhika?

C. Altogether, how many pizzas (in total) did the three friends eat? Write your answer in
whole pizzas and fractions.

D. Did Shami eat more than 1 whole pizza? Justify

Q.2 Case Study 2 – Sports Day Drinks.

In a school, On sports day, 60 bottles of juice were brought for students.


Class IV A drank ¼ of the total bottles of juice .
