Position Overview
We’re looking for a curious and motivated Junior Developer who’s eager to grow their skills in both
engineering and modern data-driven development. This role blends full-stack development with
opportunities to explore data science, AI tooling, and prompt engineering. You’ll be working
remotely alongside a collaborative, high-performing team building scalable web and mobile
applications.
This position is perfect for someone who is comfortable taking initiative, learning independently,
researching new topics, and applying their knowledge in creative ways.
Core Responsibilities
● Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web and mobile applications using modern
technologies.
● Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
● Collaborate with team members on feature planning and implementation.
● Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions.
● Debug, test, and troubleshoot issues across the stack.
● Conduct independent research and quickly ramp up on unfamiliar technologies, tools, or
concepts.
● Apply data-driven thinking to help make informed decisions, including basic data analysis
or visualization when needed.
● Leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity and code quality.
● Craft effective prompts for AI systems to aid in problem-solving and automation.
● Stay current with modern software and data trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Technical Skills
● 0–2 years of hands-on software development experience.
● Solid foundation in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
● Experience with React.js and basic state management (Redux/Context).
● Understanding of RESTful APIs and HTTP protocol fundamentals.
● Basic experience with Node.js and Express.js or NestJS.
● Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL or MySQL).
● Proficient in version control using Git.
● Comfort using tools like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or other AI-powered development
platforms.
Preferred Skills
● Exposure to Next.js or similar React frameworks.
● Experience or interest in React Native for mobile development.
● Familiarity with .NET Core and C# (good to have, not required).
● Experience or strong interest in data science, including:
○ Basic statistics and data analysis.
○ Using Python, Pandas, or Jupyter Notebooks.
○ Data visualization tools (e.g., Chart.js, D3, or Python libraries like Matplotlib).
● Experience querying NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
● Basic understanding of Docker and containerization.
● Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
● Understanding of automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
● Exposure to prompt engineering for AI interaction and automation workflows.
