In today’s era, there is an increasing demand for coffee shops that effectively combine
relaxation with productivity and good products offered. Students, freelancers, and young
professionals consistently seek venues that enable focused study, work, or collaboration outside
of their homes or educational institutions. Even though traditional coffee shops offer a
comfortable setting but they frequently lack the quiet and structured environment essential for
efficient study or professional work.

Brewed Brain can satisfy your comfortable place to work while giving
you quality good foods. We will also provide a friendly customer service to support the
Filipino-styled ambiance of our coffee shop. This coffee shop made a logo to present and
advertise the product. This logo is designed to attract the customers. This coffee shop is not
just into revenue that’s why we are going to sell but also serve to gain the loyalty and to satisfy
the needs and demands of our customers.
MANAGEMENT ASPECT
PREOPERATIONAL PROCEDURES
The following are the business permits and licenses that are generally required to all
business industries.
a. Barangay Clearance- this is a certificate that our business will comply with the
requirements of the barangay where our business is located.
b. DTI Business Na (BN) Registration Certificate- this is a certificate of registration of
our business trade name, it gives us the power to use your business registered trade
name for business operation. It also protects our business name against being used and
registered by other business establishments.
c. SEC Certificate of Registration- Corporations (stock or non-stock) and partnerships
must secure a certificate of partnership with the Securities and Exchange Commission
(SEC) to be considered as legal or juridical entities. These certificates are also used as a
requirement for registering with the BIR, Mayor's Office and other government offices.
d. Mayor's Business Permit- Business must secure with Mayor's Business Permit or the
Local Government Office where the business is located and operated. Requirement
obtaining business permit vary from different cities or municipalities.
e. BIR Certificate of Registration- Any business must be required with the Bureau of
Internal Revenue to comply Philippine tax requirements. BIR registration will assign a
TIN (Taxpayer Identification Number) to the company owner and it will give the
business authority to print its official receipts and invoices that are registered its books
of accounts.
f. PhilHealth – All businesses and employers are also required to register with PhilHealth
to enable them to provide social health insurance coverage to their employees.
g. DOLE Registration – Business with five or more employees are encourage to register
with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for the purpose of monitoring
their compliance with labor regulations.
h. Bureau of Food and Drugs – this is secondary permit for the business related in the
manufacturing, trading, repacking, importing, exporting, distributing of any products
related to food and drugs.
i. Department of Health – this permit for the business is responsible for ensuring access
to basic public health services to all Filipinos through the provision of
quality health care and regulation of providers of health goods and services.

quality, regardless of the external weather. Beyond the main coffee bar which is designed for
efficient service and a pleasant customer experience, we also have a well-equipped kitchen area
facilitates food preparation and storage. Individual study cubicles are provided for those that
needs a focused environment which are equipped with convenient power outlets for laptops and
other devices. Furthermore, several soundproof group rooms offer private settings ideal for
