PCOS with AUB with endometrial polyp.

GROSS A. Container labeled as 1 :- Recevied multiple greyish brown soft tissue pieces altogether measuring 0.8 x 0.6 x 0.2
EXAMINATION: cm. 01 Block/NTL
B. Container labeled as 2 :- Received multiple greyish white soft tissue pieces altogether measuring 0.4 x 0.3 x 0.2
cm. 01 Block/NTL
MICROSCOPY: A. Biopsy showed fragments composed of disordered proliferative endometrium.
The stroma showed moderate lympho-mononuclear cells and eosinophils.
No definite thick - walled blood vessels, granuloma, atypia or evidence of malignancy seen.
B. Suboptimally preserved fragments showed features of disordered proliferative endometrium.
No evidence of granuloma or malignancy seen.
IMPRESSION: A. Features are suggestive of disordered proliferative endometrium.
No definite thick - walled blood vessels, granuloma, atypia or evidence of malignancy seen.
Advised or MUM1 to exclude endometritis.
B. Suboptimally preserved fragments showed features of disordered proliferative
endometrium.
No evidence of granuloma or malignancy seen.
