surface - Cervix - Epidermidised congested. Ink noted. Cut surface - Cervix -
Endocervical canal measuring 2cm in length. A hemorrhagic thickened endometrium
noted extending from endometrial cavity to the lower uterine segment. Outer surface -
Uterus - Congested. Cut surface - Uterus - Endometrial cavity measuring 4.8cm in
length. Endometrial thickness measuring 0.7cms. A pale brown Section - a tiny
subserosal fibroid noted measuring 0.6x0.6cms. Section given in - U,V. Section from the

MICROSCOPY: Report date 26/12/2024, 11.08am.
Multiple sections studied show
Cervix - Chronic papillary endocervicitis.
Endometrium - Irregular, convoluted endometrial glands lined by columnar cells, few of
the glands show secretion within the lumen. Stroma appears decidualised with spiral
arterioles. No atypia seen.
Myometrium - Multiple sections studied show focus of adenomyosis with endometrial
glands and stroma.
Section studied from subserosal fibroid show uniform spindle cells arranged as
intersecting fascicles showing bland nucleus.
Right fallopian tube - Unremarkable.
Right ovary - Corpus luteum, Corpus albicans and cystic follicles.
Left fallopian tube - Unremarkable.
Left ovary - Corpus albicans and cystic follicles.
Container labelled (2) Praaortic lymph node - Multiple sections studied show single
lymph node showing reactive change.
