1. Project: OFIN (Oracle E-Business Suite)
Description: OFIN (Oracle E-Business Suite) which is a Claim payment application
where the business operates the paymentsto Provider/Subscriber and other activities like
reports in their day-to-day operations. There are lot of responsibilities in Oracle ERP but
OFIN primarily uses AP (Account Payables), GL (General Ledger), Cash Management&AR
(Account Receivables).
As part of Automation we automated few E2E process under Account Payables which
includes Invoice Management, Payment Processing, Payment Recovery processes using
UFT.
Role & Responsibilities:
Understanding the features by reviewing the User stories and attending the Daily
Scrum calls and Project Update meetings.
Automate the CIRRUSOFIN processes using UFT automation tool using JAVA as
programming language.
We used cucumber BDD and gherkin to write the test and generated glue code to
which we added the Java code.
We built a testsuite which will run processes from end to end.
We have also taken up regression testing using the same approach.
As part of this project, supported the in sprint team in automating their
requirements.
Created and managed UFT testscripts based on requirements and scenarios.
In the part of End-to-End testing, executed UFT test scripts by weekly and
maintained reports.
Handled and Maintained Virtual Machine Access and provided access to the teamfor
the purpose of executed automation scripts.
Involved in preparation of Test plan and System Test Report.
Involved in Designing, Reviewing and Executing Test Scenarios and Test cases in
Rally.
