[Backstage: move bench to central central]

[light: light open]

Scene 1: A park with a bench and trees.

[Kaylee enters the stage, holding a book, looking confident. Narrator
enters the stage.]

Narrator: Kaylee has always been an average student, studying for

tests but never aiming for the best.

[Kayla enters the stage, standing next to Kaylee.]

Kaylee: I love being an average student. You never get any pressure.

Kayla: But… isn’t getting the best grades more satisfying?

Kaylee: I don’t care about that.

[Kaylee and Kayla exit.]

[Light: light close]

[Backstage: move door to left front, 4 small music room chairs to

central central-right]

[Light: light open]

Scene 2: Changes to a classroom with tables and chairs.
[Kaylee and Kayla enter. They both are carrying their school bags and
holding their test scores.]

Narrator: The next day, they got their science test scores.

Kaylee: I can’t believe it! I’ve failed my test! I’ve never failed!

Kayla: It’s okay… You’ll do better next time.

[Hayley enter]

Hayley: [facing Kaylee] Ha! I heard that “someone” failed her test,
but it’s totally normal since you never studied. So I bet you will
fail this year.

Kayla: Excuse me? Mind your own business!

[Kayla and Hayley exit. Kaylee sat down on the stage, looking at the
test.]

Narrator: As the curriculum got harder, Kaylee kept failing her tests,
and she became more desperate.

[Kayla enters. Carrying some books]

Kaylee: [To Kayla] Why can't I get good grades? You keep getting full
marks!

Kayla: Kaylee, I believe that we are capable of achieving

extraordinary things. By embracing challenges, seeking growth, and
never settling, we can unlock our full potential and make a lasting
impact. You just have to work harder. You have to be a pursuer of
excellence.

[Kaylee nodded]

[Narrator steps forward]

Narrator: Kaylee understood that the path to excellence wasn't an easy

one. It required dedication, discipline, and a willingness to step out
of your comfort zone.
[Kayla and Kaylee exits]

[Light: light close]

[Backstage: move couch to central central]

[Light: light open]

Scene 3: Change to the library with a couch.

[Kaylee enters. She is shown studying diligently in a library.]

Kaylee: (Focused) Every page, every concept, I try to understand

deeply and apply knowledge in meaningful ways.

Narrator: Kaylee extended her pursuit of excellence to her daily life

as well. She approached tasks with passion, attention to detail, and a
commitment to delivering exceptional results.

[Kayla enters the stage, expressing admiration.]

[Hayley enters]

Hayley: [walk by and be sarcastic] Wow what a nerd, can’t believe you
also study! But… I assume that you still can’t pass a single test even
if you studied. So good luck on staying in Form 1 this year.

Kayla: Hayley, get out of here before I make you.

Hayley: Ok! Whatever! Gosh… [roll her eyes]

[Hayley exits, looking annoyed]

Kayla: Kaylee, your relentless pursuit of excellence has not only

elevated your own life but has also inspired those around you. You set
the bar high and motivate others to strive for greatness.

Kaylee: Thank you, Kayla. I believe that when we aim for excellence,
we create a ripple effect that inspires others to do the same.
Together, we can raise the standards and make a significant
difference.
[Narrator steps forward, emphasizing the impact of Kaylee’s pursuit of
excellence.]

Narrator: Ever since Kaylee has started working so hard, she has
gotten outstanding grades. And so we witness the transformative power
of perseverance and diligence. Kaylee’s commitment to continuous
growth and her refusal to give up not only elevated her own life but
also inspired others to become better.
