1. Please state your name, location, and current position at Nion.

A: Goce Lozanovski, Bitola Macedonia, Senior Java Developer

2. How did you like your onboarding process here at Nion?

A: The most noticeable thing for me was how friendly people were
from day one, not just polite but making you to feel supported from
day one.
The onboarding part was different too didn't just throw manuals and
task lists at you they showed me how to fit with the group right
away.
It was showed to me the company hierarchy, the culture and all
documents and link that I would need.
3. What made you decide to work at Nion, and what about its reputation,
market position and services do you find most exciting?

A: Well, I don't know the real reason, maybe the first impression with
the people that were with me in the interview process. So, after the
interview I was “investigating” about the company reputation and
decided to work at Nion because of its strong reputation in this
industry.

4. Have you always been a [current position], or has your role changed
over the years? Would you like to share any of your previous work
experiences? (ex. Industries, domains, companies...) Are there any specific
projects, partnerships, or collaborations from your past experience that
you think are interesting for us to know?

A: Mostly yes, I have always been a software engineer in the past

years. I have experienced to work in different programming
languages, and working as an integration developer in different
industries like a financial domain (working for Paysafe and
FISGlobal), Advertising domain (working for Hudson MX),
Telecommunications domain (working for Telecom Slovenia, Millicom
Columbia, Bolivia and Guatemala and WindTre Italy), Legislative
authoring domain (working for European Parliament) and etc.

5. What is the unique set of skills that you bring to this position?

A: I bring a unique combination of deep technical expertise with

over 18 years of software development, primarily in Java, I’ve built
scalable enterprise solutions across fintech, telecommunications,
advertising technology, and public sector projects.

database architecture, and integration with complex systems like

A: Currently I’m not in any project so I just moving through the

my future.

7. How do you handle challenges or setbacks in your work?

A: In my 18+ years of experience, I’ve learned that challenges and

setbacks are an inevitable part of complex software development.
When they happen, I approach them methodically. First, I analyze
the issue in detail whether it's a technical bug, a performance
bottleneck, or a delivery challenge to fully understand the root
cause. Then I break it down into smaller, manageable steps and look
for potential solutions, often collaborating with teammates or
leveraging experience.

8. What professional achievement are you particularly proud of?

A: In my carrier I had a lot of proud moments, and if I must choose

one, that would be the leading the development of a social
recruiting platform at one of my previous companies. I wasn’t just

requirements with technical delivery, and ensuring quality. Seeing
the product evolve into a sophisticated platform used by end
customers was very rewarding, because it combined leadership,
architecture, and hands-on problem solving.

A: In my spare time I go to the gym regularly, which helps me keep

my energy and focus. I also enjoy working with my hands while
renovating parts of my house like welding, plastering, and even
trying my skills at laying tiles. For me, it's both relaxing and
rewarding to see something practical take shape from my own
effort. It’s like programming in a way, you start with an idea work
through the process and end up with something solid and useful.
