Important information of safe operation

[Link] plug the power cord in an 230V~electrical socket. Don't use
electrical outlets other than the correct voltage; otherwise it might
cause fire or electric shock.
[Link]’t wet your hand before plugging or unplugging the power
cord.
[Link] unplug the power cord when the equipment isn't used for a
long time when you go to a journey, etc
1.3.1 Demonstration
When use this equipment for demonstration, must disconnect the power cable from tube to rack
or timer to prohibite radiation, to disconnect the cable from terminal block to tube.
The cable which disconnect should be insulation protection, to avoid accident. You should
separate the connector with isolation plate.
This work must been done by training person to avoid electric shock.
1.3.2 Beam limiting device
The system is equipped with a beam limiting device which
can make sure the distance between the radiation core and
skin is 22cm(2.36 inch). The output is round and its diameter
is 6cm (2.36 inch).
This beam limiting device is applicable to separate or parallel
X Ray for imaging. You can adjust the angle of it surround the
vertical axes or horizontal axes. The tube head can be rotated
allodially at horizontal direction surround vertical axes. Also it
can be rotated 土 135 0 along the horizontal axes.
1.3.3 Timer
The timer is consisted of hand controller and control box.
There are seven buttons on the hand controller as following:
Adult(big), Children(small), time Increase( ▲ ) ,time Reduce( ), set

up button(SET),Film select key (Film), exposure button. The symbol
instruction please refer to the Appendix 2.

Diagnostic X-Ray Equipment

Following are the 2 main functions of timer:

1) Self-Inspection function
All of the indicating lamp and digital tube will blink three times when you turn on. Then the
device will enter into self-inspection program after beep. This operation can test if the function of
indicating lamp digital tube and buzzer are normal.
2) Voltage Surveillance function:
You can push any button to enter into voltage surveillance function when start .This function only
can inspect the voltage between 190V and 250V. When the voltage is under this range the digital
tube will display error code A6. If over it will display error code [Link] the voltage is in the range it will
show the actual working voltage.

1.3.4 Operation
① Please turn on the switch which under the timer to enter into preparative state.
② To adjust the position of tube head and the direction of beam limiting device.
③ Please choose the exposure program to prepare exposure. Film specification select you can
④ Turn off the equipment: reset the arm, turn off the controller power, unplug the power cord

1. Choose the low-speed film(FLO).high-speed film(FL2) and digital sensor (RVG) with “FILM”key
.The original is FL2 when initial boot, and the related indicator will light on. Different films have
different exposure time too. User can adjust the exposure time according to his dental film. You
can push the “SET ” key to reserve the time after adjustment, and the film mode has been
reserved too. If you need to resume to the original situation, push the “SET” key for 10s.
Tips: Judge the film exposure time, if the film is partial black, it means that the exposure time is
too long, and vice versa.
2. Choosing the type of default exposure: The controller will default the program of adult molar.
At this time you can push adult button to choose the Adult molar, canine or molar. The relevant
indicating lamp will be on after your choose. For children, the operation is same as above.
3. Exposure time select. There is a default exposure time to every exposure program, if it doesn't
meet your request, you can adjust the time with“time+”and“time-”key,adjustable between 0.06s
and [Link] time will not be reserved after reselect the tooth or restart the equipment, if you want
to reserved, please push the “ SET ” key (immediate release after one click).Push the“SET”
key for 10s that the original situation has been resumed
4. Taking the control panel and choose a position as far as patient Just push the exposure button
when you decide to exposure. Then the digital tube will display reciprocal 120 seconds .This
function is used for avoiding mistake. If you confirm the exposure just push exposure button again
in 120s or any other button. After it the yellow indicating light of exposure will blink .
The exposure program will be done normally. If you want to cancel the exposure during this 120
seconds just push any other button except exposure button or don't push any button during this
120 seconds. (Except the exposure key and set key)
5. When you are doing the exposure the yellow indicating light and buzzer will show the X-Ray's
state.

Operation Manual 4
Diagnostic X-Ray Equipment

6. There will be displayed three blinking 0 after exposure. Pushing any button is invalid during the
blinking period. In fact the blinking time is the cooling time of light tube. If the exposure time is
longer the blinking time will be longer .The blinking time is 60 times of exposure time.
7. Putting back the exposure control panel then process the image .
8. Warning :
During the process of exposure ,the yellow lamp on the control panel will be on and the buzzer will
beep. This means the X-Ray is radiating .If you find alarm information during exposure please refer
to the Appendix 3 .it will show you the solution of the error code. As the reference of Appendix 3 ,
the system will indicate by light and display information during alarm.
9. If the controlling is not valid or can't control in long distance during operation please replace the
battery. The type of battery is 23 A 12V you can find in super market easily.

1.3.5 Safety
• Electric
■ Only the technician who with certificate or pass the training can open the timer and touch the
Circuit.

holes, then fix the box base(part 5), thickened gasket Φ 10 (part 6) , gasket, spring-washer, screw,
and tighten screws.
If the wall is built with wire inside, align the wire outlet with hole located on the template chart,
then drill(figure 3-1). See detailed steps below:

Wall/Ceiling construction
The wall/ceiling construction must be able to resist a shear load of 75kg(170 pounds)
and withdrawal force of 200kg(445 pounds) at each of the four attachment. locations.
Otherwise, some additional mounting supports must be used to fulfill this requirement.

NOTES:
During the drill, make sure they are horizontal with the ground, prevent damage of circuit board
and wire.

2.2.4 Installation of roating arm

Insert the rotating arm into the hole of the box base, if it is too tight, please loosen (part 1) with m6
inner hexagonal spanner.
Check whether the arm is horizontal with the ground, if not, please unscrew the screws, adjust box
base location, then tighten.
Tighten (part 1) with m6 inner hexagonal spanner, to make the rotating arm comfortable to rotate.

2.2.5 Installation of telescopic arm

1 .Insert the telescopic arm into the hole in the rotating arm. If it is hard to insert there ,please use
the hexagon wrench M12 to loose the locking screw and then try it again.
2. Be tighten line cord properly, which shouldn't be too slack or too tight.
3. Use the hexagon wrench M12 to tighten the locking screw and keep the locking screw in its
appropriate position when the telescopic arm is rotating.

Tips:
These parts keep balance through the comprehensive effects of opposite force produced by the
specially made compressed spring, and gravity of the tube head and other componants. Due to
the convenience for transportation, the Telescopic Arm I & II should be kept parallel in its packing
box. In this step, the tube head hasn't been installed so that these parts havn't gotten the very
balance. In order to avoid being injured by Arm II, you'd better spread these arms after you instert
the telescopic arm into the rotating arm. Be careful in this process.

2.2.6 Circuit connection

Make sure the power is off before connection

with inside-wall wire, please connect following 15-1, find details in 15-2( 1,2,3,4,5 means the wire)
if power wire is used, please take off the sealing ring, get the wire through the small hole of the box
base, then out from the bigger hole in suitable length, unscrew the 2 screws of the line-presser,
then press the wire.( make sure the length for circuit connection is enough), see details in 15-3.
Notes: sealing ring is not required here.

3. after circuit connection, connect 6-pin plug of hand controller with outlet of control box board.
4. power on, press the power button, check whether the power switch and indicator of circuit
board are on, with a voice of “di”. all the indicators of the hand controller will blink 3 times,
please inspect circuit connection if all the above do not appear.
NOTES:
Make sure the power is off during the inspection to prevent harm.
Only the qualified service engineers are allowed to replace the power cord.
