1. U.O.Note No. FMU0MISC/428/2024-FMU-TR-B (2569644),

Finance (FMU-TR&B), Dept., Dated 27-9-2024.
2. Letter No.ENC(I)/SE/PPMU/DEE1/AEE1/Closing of Works, Dt.6.5.2025
received from the ENC(I), Vijayawada.

ORDER:

In the reference 1st read above, certain guidelines / instructions were

issued regarding cancellation / continuation of works already sanctioned and
clearing of bills. The Para No.4 of above instructions is as below:

(i). All works except EAP / NABARD / CSS sanctioned prior to 1-4-2024, but
not grounded shall stand cancelled immediately.

(ii). All works, except EAP / NABARD / CSS sanctioned prior to 1-4-2024,
work done and recorded is less than 25% of the agreement value shall be
closed at safer stage. This exercise shall be completed and orders to this
effect from the appropriate authority shall be obtained by 31-10-2024 and
payments may be processed in this regard only after obtaining work closure
orders.
(iii). The Special Chief Secretaries / Secretaries / HoDs are requested to take
a thorough review of the works as specified above.

3. In view of the importance of the works, the Engineer-in-Chief, Water

Resources Department, Vijayawada has submitted proposals for according
permission to continue the above works duly exempting the same from the
condition laid down at Para-4 of U.O.Note No.(2569644) FMU0MISC/ 428/
2024-FMU-TR-B, Dated 27-9-2024.

4 After careful consideration of various aspects based on the recommendations
of the Engineer-in-Chief (Irrigation), Water Resources Department, Vijayawada,
Government hereby accord permission for continuation of 71 works in the
jurisdiction of various Chief Engineers of Water Resources Department in which
value of works done is less than 25% of agreement value/not grounded duly
exempting the same from the condition laid down at Para-4 of U.O.Note No.
FMU0MISC/428/2024-FMU-TR-B, (2569644), Dated 27-9-2024 as listed in
Annexure.

5. This Order is issued with the concurrence of Finance Department vide

their U.O.No: FMU0PC(WR2)/29/2025 (2835556), Dated 10.6.2025.
