How do arts affects your perception of being alive? (Lesson 5.1)
: Art had a great impact on everyone’s view or perception of being alive since through the years, art has
evolve and many types of artform was discovered. Art affects our perception of being alive by providing
new lenses through which to understand the world and our emotions, offering a profound means of self-
expression and connection, and by creating intense experiences that can heighten our awareness and
challenge our existing perspectives. Art inspires a sense of wonder and deep emotional engagement,
making us more attuned to life's complexities and beauty, whether through active creation or mindful
appreciation.

Assessment:
Can you draw a conclusion from this caricature inspired from the
painting of Michael Angelo? (Lesson 5.1)
: This artwork by Michael Angelo depicts the “Creation of Adam”. It shows Imitationism which imitates
the true reality trough art on that God has created adam. It also shows us a history about the creation of
adam, What art is imitating or representation is real and applicable to our lives.

Have any of your art skills improved during this project?
:It has improved not just my art skills but also my understanding about the nature of art through the lesson
about Plato’s theory of imitationism which tells us that art imitates the reality of this world. Art allows us
to see through different perspectives, appreciate beauty, find solace, and understand both the positive and
negative aspects of life, ultimately enriching our appreciation for existence.
