INTRODUCTION:
Narrator 1 (Harshil): Let’s begin this morning with a word so bright,
Probity — the torch of truth, the guide to what’s right.
It means standing tall with values so true,
Doing what’s right, even when no one sees you.
It’s the heart of our nation, the soul of our pride —
A word we carry with honour by our side.
Narrator 2( Medhawini) : With that spirit in mind and joy in our say,
A very good morning to all on this beautiful day!
To our respected Principal Ma’am, and senior coordinator Archana Ma’am,
Our dear teachers and friends — a warm welcome to you!
Scene 1:
[Daduji sitting with newspaper]
Grandkid comes running with trophy]
Grandkid ( Laavanya) : What are you reading dadu?
Dadaji (Saksham): Just the news beta. Oh Look! India..”National
news”. What a glory India is achieving nowadays. And… “International
news”...
Grandkid: Oh Wow dadu! Look at my trophy, today at our school
Amity Pv …”Campus news”
Grandad: Oh congrats…Reminds me of the old days. You know , I
even possess ACTUAL trophies like that.
Grandkid: Oh you possess trophies? Like from achievements from
YOUR school time?
Grandad (Saksham): Haha…more like symbols from the Glorious
history of India. Come, let me show you.
(They move and open the treasure chest to reveal a special ornament- her
sword)
~~FLASHBACK~~
Narrator (Mannat S):
In the 18th century, when resistance was rare and rulers were hesitant, one
woman rose.
[Enter Rani Chennamma holding a sword, standing tall.]
Rani Chennamma (Samaya): I, Rani Chennamma of Kittur, stand not for
conquest, but for freedom. I will not let foreign hands rule our people.
Narrator(Isha): She was among the first to raise her sword against British
rule - a queen with unmatched resolve.
Narrator(Shaan): She wasn’t born in armour — but life made her one. The
fierce queen of Kittur… Rani Chennamma.
Rani Chennamma (Samaya): I am a woman, but not weak. I will never let
Kittur fall into the hands of the British. Be it darkness or storm — I will fight!
Soldier (Armaan) : This... this isn’t just a weapon. It’s a legacy. It holds the
story of an entire nation.
Narrator (Kritika): That very sword now lies in a museum. Not just as
artifacts — but as living memories of courage and sacrifice.
(Back to living room)
Dadaji (Saksham): Beta let me show you another treasure — one that
holds the heart of our history and legacy.
[Exit Rani Chennamma. Bhagat Singh enters with a book in one hand and
a red turban.]
Narrator(Jasnoor): His real book, ‘Introduction to dreamland’, imagines a
utopian society — a world free from oppression, exploitation, inequality,
and suffering. This “dreamland” represents the ideal future India that he
and other revolutionaries hoped to build through struggle and sacrifice.
**[Flashback: Bhagat Singh’s jail cell. He’s writing quickly. Guards call for
him.]
Bhagat Singh (Sanat): “Azaadi sirf ek khwab nahi — ek zindagi ka maksad
hai. I’ll leave, but this book will speak.”
They may silence me. But they cannot silence ideas. Ideas are bulletproof.
(While exiting scene Bhagat Singh says)- Inquilab Zindabad!
[Lights shift to protest mimes, freedom slogans, jail scenes.]
Narrator (Kinshuk): From Rani Chennamma to Bhagat Singh, from quiet
resistance to bold revolution - these were India's heroes.
[Flashback ends. Lights return to the living room.]
Grandkid ( Laavanya) : (in awe) Dadu, they were stronger than any
superhero I've ever read about. I mean… superheroes fight villains, but
these people — they fought entire empires! And they didn’t even have
powers… just faith, fire, and fearless hearts. Not just strong — but selfless.
Not just right- but real. Not just famous — but fierce.
Dadaji (Saksham): Indeed. Their power came not from machines, but from
their values - integrity, sacrifice, and inspiration.
Scene-2
Scene 2: The Real Iron Man
[Scene opens with Aarav showing Dadiji his Iron Man figurine.]
Grandkid( Laavanya): Dadi, look at my Iron Man. He's brilliant, brave, and
saves the world!
Dadiji (Harshita): Yes beta, he is impressive. But bacha, do you know who
India's true Iron Man was?
● Grandkid: Who are you talking about dadi?
Dadiji (Harshita): Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel - a man of steel, not in
armor, but in spirit. The challenge was- 562 different princely states.
He united Bharat into one nation. Not with lasers — with love and
leadership.
[Backdrop changes to show India's princely states. Stage left shows a large
map.]
**[Scene shift: Flashback. 5 groups enact major independence
moments.]
● Group 1: People talking…Bal Gangadhar Tilak (Dolly) -
“Freedom is my birthright — and I shall have it!”
● Group 2: Emotional protests (Kinshuk) — “Simon Go Back!”
● Group 3: Women and children crying, refugees walking Sarojini
Naidu (Medhawini) - “I am the voice of the women who refused
silence under chains.”
● Group 4: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar (Sarthak)- We are Indians first and
last — not divided by caste, but united by Constitution.
● Group 5: Subash Chadra Bose (Mudit): Give me blood and I will
give you freedom!
● Group 6: Lal Bahadur Shastri (Aditya)- “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan —
the soldier and the farmer, both protect our nation.”
[Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel walks in slowly, voice steady.]
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (Arsh):
My dear kings and princes, the time for division has ended. We must unite
and hence independence has been won — but unity was the real battle.
Still, we rose as one nation, one heartbeat.
This is the India we built.
“Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat. Jai Hind!”
Narrator( Mannat Bhatia)
With strength, diplomacy, and integrity, he unified India. Not through force -
but through conviction.
Grandkid (Laavanya): He united all of India! He is truly India’s Iron man!
Not even Tony Stark could unite New York this way.
Dadiji (Harshita): Now you understand beta, he didn't need a suit. His
character was his strength.
Scene 3:
Post-Independence – Integrity in a Changing World
[Setting: The Main kid with his Grandma and his best friends Sami and
Rami.]
Mannat S: The problem with living in a place where people are not
influenced by pop culture is that im wearing my scandinavian scarf,
prada slippers, these cute vintage bangles and have this BOHO ink
tattoo, my fashion too ahead of its time for the average eye.
Rami (Dolly): SO TRUE and Omg guys, did you check out MY new
Slay-worthy Prada slippers too??. They’re so fetch!
Sami (Manisha): Yes! And do check out my Scandinavian scarf.
Minimalist elegance!
Rami (Dolly): Brooo, I need all of this! The western culture is so
UNIQUE, SO ORIGINAL
Kid 1 (Sarthak) : Acha, Prada? Wahi chappal Dadi ji mandir jaate time
pehenti hai — Kohlapuri original!
Sami (Manisha): Whaaat?
Kid 2 (Jasnoor) : Scandinavian scarf? More like ‘Scam the Indians
scarf’ and dont give them any credit...Dadi ka dupatta hai — style tied
since 1970. No influencer needed.
Narrator 1(Trisha): It’s true — Western brands have often rebranded
simple Indian items and sold them for high prices. Like when Prada
marketed a basic chappal, common in India, for hundreds of dollars.
Narrator 2(Hansika): Or when Indian dupattas were renamed
“Scandinavian scarfs” without credit. Our culture is often borrowed,
renamed, and sold back to us — minus the respect.
Mom (Ridhima): You see (kid’s name), it’s like taking your aloo
paratha, packaging it, and selling it for ₹500 calling it “fusion flatbread
deluxe.”
Grandkid( Laavanya): So... they take our culture, rename it, and sell it
back to us?
Mom (Ridhima): Exactly. And that's why we must value our identity -
not only preserve it, but celebrate it.
Grandkid: We don’t need to copy trends. We set them! We are Indians
and we built the blueprint.
(Friends enter slowly.)
Narrator (Harshil): Indian culture is being rebranded - and sometimes
misrepresented - by global brands.
Kid 1 (Sarthak) : Bro... India doesn’t need validation or approval. We
are the original.
Kid 3 (Medhawini) : Let’s stop flexing copies. Let’s start flaunting roots.
Grandkid: Guys, from now on- Let’s wear self-respect before we wear
fashion.
Student 1 (Harshil) : We are not just a country. We are a civilization -
thousands of years old.
Student 2 (Jatin): From ancient sciences to modern space missions,
India inspires every step of the way.
Grandkid: Integrity is not just in history books - it is in how we live
today.
Finale:
Video???: I, for India, honour my heritage.
I, for India, uphold the truth.
I, for India, celebrate our unity.
I, for India, stand for inspiration.
I, for India, live with integrity.
I, for India - am proud to be Indian.
Subscene: Integrity & Global Stage
Narrator (Harshil): Today, India shines — not just in history, but on the
world map.
Narrator (Shaan): D Gukesh & R Praggnanandhaa defeating Magnus
Carlsen. Divya Deshmukh lifting the FIDE trophy. Koneru Humpy
stood as the first runner up in the all India final.
Narrator (Mannat S): Teenagers becoming chess grandmasters.
Women rewriting global world records. This is India’s integrity — quiet,
strong, global.
Final Scene: All Cast On Stage
Grandkid (Laavanya): "India isn’t a past. It’s a promise. A legacy. A
leader. I for India, I for Independence, and I... for Integrity! Jai Hind!
Jai Hind (All in unison)
