On the outskirt of Greece in a small little white shack, Colin Bridgerton slowly woke up with
the morning sun. Looking at the alarm clock Colin saw that it was barely past 8 in the
morning. Looking over his shoulder he saw his girlfriend still sound asleep. Rolling over and
pulling her into his chest and planting kisses on her shoulder Colin could feel her start to stir.
Colin continued to shower her with small kisses on her shoulder and neck, Penelope
Featherington soon rolled on her back to face her boyfriend.
“Good morning,” she said, sleepy.
“Morning” he said, reaching down to kiss her again, but this time on the lips. As their lips
met Penelope ran her hands through his long hair. She always loved when his hair got a little
long in the back and curled a little. Colin’s tongue traced the edge of her lips and soon they
were fighting for dominance. Colin found himself hovering over Penelope within seconds.
Pulling back from the kiss, Colin trailed kisses down her neck and that spot just behind her
ear that makes her squirm.
“Colin,” she breathed. Colin continued his kisses down her neck and on to her chest. Taking a
nipple into his mouth while the other played with the other one. He loved her breasts, he
loved how they were full and overflowed in his hands, but what he loved most was feeling
her lose control just from playing with them.
“Colin, please,” she begs.
“Please what baby,” he said, switching over to the other one. Penelope’s nails went from his
hair to his back and dug her nails into him. “Pen, are you going to answer me,” he said, even
though he knew what she wanted, but hearing her beg was such a turn on for him.
“Colin, I want you,” she said, pushing her pelvis into him, feeling his hard member against
her.
“Where do you want me?” he said, releasing her nipple with a pop.
“I want you inside me,” she begged. Colin brought his lips to hers one last time before
running his fingers down to clit. Inserting a finger into her folds, Colin felt how wet she was
for him. He would never get over how wet he made her. Teasing her a little, making sure that
she was really wet and ready. Grabbing on to his member Colin slowly eased himself into her
tight wet center. Penelope let out a slow sigh as she felt him.
“Do you know how much I love being inside you?” he said, as he started to go in and out of
her creating a rhythm. Penelope wrapped her legs around Colin making him go deeper inside

as he took her leg and placed it on his shoulder. The couple could feel each other getting
close to their release. Penelope ran her hand between her legs and started rubbing herself.
“That’s it, love, play with yourself,” Colin said, as he thrust harder into her. After a few more
thrust Colin and Penelope came together. Rolling off of Penelope, Colin lays on his back
trying to catch his breath.
In the 8 months of them dating and him filming in Greece for his new show for most of it,
Colin still couldn’t believe that Penelope Featherington was his. Penelope was a family friend
and one of his closest friends. She was the one that encouraged him to start a food youtube
channel showing people how to create different dishes from his travels. His channel became
such a hit that he started making appearances on different food tv shows being a guest judge.
Colin’s fame shot up fast and had many girls lining up to ask him out in his DMs, but the
only girl or rather woman he was interested in was Penelope, she always was his safe haven
when he didn’t know what to do or just needed someone to get him back down to earth.
Penelope herself was a very successful journalist with her Lady Whistledown column that
talked about everything from fashion to latest celebrity gossip. She worked alongside a
women named Ms. Danbury that ran the magazine and website called The Ton. Penelope had
started as an intern during university and Danbury liked her writing and work ethic so much
that she gave her a full time job after graduation. The Whistledown articles and blogs became
a hit once Penelope took over and even she started gaining more and more followers on
social media.
With both Colin and Penelope becoming more and more popular, society started knowing
who they were and when they saw them together either getting a bite to eat or just hanging
out at the pub, rumors started to go that they were together but both posted that they were just
friends on their Instagram stories. Of course that never stopped gossip from spreading in all
other gossip magazines. Usually Colin and Penelope would just laugh and stug it off until one
night.
-Flashback-
“Oh look at this one, it says Secret Love Child the story of Colin and Penelope’s baby,”
Penelope said as she scrolled through Instagram on Colin’s couch. Colin laughed as he
walked behind the couch to hand her a glass of wine.
“Oh thank you,” she said, “Oh this account is new, it says they are a Colin and Penelope fan
page and they call us Polin.”
“Polin?” he said from the kitchen.
“Yep apparently it’s our celebrity couple name,” Penelope said getting off the couch to go see
what Colin was cooking. She loved when he cooked for her or when he tried new things, she
never minded being a guinea pig for him.
“Our celebrity couple name. Well that’s new,” Colin said, taking a spoon and allowing her to
taste what he was working on. Penelope moaned and threw her head back at how delicious it
was. Colin felt a twitch in his pants as he heard her moan. He had always liked Penelope but
for a while now like 2 years he had really started liking her.
“I understand that people want to start something but how many times do we have to tell
them that we are not together,” she said, going back to her phone.
“What if we were together?” he finally said.
“Wha…what?” she stuttered, dropping her phone down on the kitchen counter.
“What if we tried this whole dating thing. I mean everyone says we would be good together
anyway so why not try it. I mean I would be lying if I didn’t say I haven’t thought about it,”
he said knowing with Penelope he just had to be honest with her.
“What hold on? You have been thinking about you and me together like in as a couple,”
Penelope was more in shock than anything. She has liked Colin since the first day they met
and never really thought he would like her back and now he was offering her a chance to be a
couple.
“Yes, I have thought about it, even before all this shit on social media started. And I know, I
know I should have told you sooner but I just didn’t know how to and if you would even
want to go on a date with me, but Penelope please say something because at this point I’m
just rambling,” Colin said, not really caring about dinner.
“I..I really don’t know what to say. I mean Colin you just said you liked me and have been
thinking about us dating in a few words or less. It’s a lot to take in,” she said. The look on his
face was the look of defeat and sadness. Taking his hand into hers, they finally met eye to
eye. “Colin, do you really want this?” she asked.
“I do. I want this Pen,” he replied, placing his hands on her waist.
“Well then ask me, ask me on a date?” she said.
“Penelope, will you go on a date with me?” he said.
“Yes, I will,” she said, as Colin pulled her in for a hug.
-End Flashback-

After the date they agreed to keep it private from everyone including his family and now 8
months later they layed in a bed after amazing morning sex. Colin came back to reality when
he felt the bed move and Penelope move in close to him.
“What do you want for breakfast, Pen,” he asked.
“Umm I’m thinking French Toast,” she said, snuggling up closer.
“I can do that. I actually have a surprise for you so go shower and when you get out breakfast
will be ready,” Colin said, getting up and finding a pair of boxers and helping her get up from
the bed.
“What surprise?”
“Well if I told you it wouldn’t be a surprise,” he loved coming up with surprises for her and
treating her like the queen she is, but every queen also deserves love and that is what he
planned on telling her tonight. Tha he, Colin Bridgerton loves Penelope Featherington.

Colin was putting the final touches on the French toast when Penelope walked out in a white
silk robe making him stop in his place. A smile crept on her face when she saw Colin’s
reaction to her robe.
“So are you going to tell me what this surprise is going to be?” she asked, sitting at the table
as he sat down the food in front of her. Colin went over to a drawer and pulled out a
pamphlet.
“You my angel are going to have a day of pampering,” he said handing her the pamphlet, “I
already have it scheduled for the deluxe package, you will get a full body massage, manicure
and pedicure, facial, and some other things.”
“Colin, this is too much,” she said, even though she loved the present.
“Nothing is too much for you baby. You have been working so hard and I just want to help
you relax some more, even though I know that I have helped with some of that already,” he
said, kissing her shoulder. Penelope raised her head up and kissed his lips.
“Thank you. I love it,” she said, “Now let's eat before the food gets cold.” The couple ate
their breakfast as they laughed at different pictures on Instagram of his family and what
different celebrities were doing.
When it was time for Penelope to go Colin kissed her goodbye and walked her to the Uber he
scheduled for her. Once she left Colin went into game mode and started getting his plans
together. He first went to the store and got everything he would need to make her for dinner,
cleaned the whole house from top to bottom, changed all the towels and sheets, he wanted
everything to be perfect. Colin decided to make them shrimp scampi with garlic bread and
grilled asparagus. For dessert he made chocolate covered strawberries and made sure to have
extra melted chocolate possibly for later tonight.
Colin brought a white tablecloth for the table and placed candles and some roses on it. He
continued to place candles all around the house including the bedroom where he also placed
roses there. Looking around the house he was pleased with his work. Five minutes before
Penelope was due to return Colin lit all the candles and placed dinner on the table then
dimmed the lights.
Perfect, he thought.
A knock on the door alerted Colin. Penelope had a key and didn’t need to knock. Opening the
door Colin was surprised by this two older brothers.
“Anthony. Benedict. What are you all doing here?” he asked, starting to go into panic mood.
“Hey, Colin,” they said, as they pushed through and went into the house. Looking around the
brothers were really surprised at the romantic scene they came across.
“Oh Colin, look at this, who is all this for?” Benedict asked.
“That is for me to know and for both of you all to leave before she gets her,” Colin replied,
trying to get both brothers out the front door again. Sadly, Anthony headed toward the
bedroom instead.
“Oh come on Colin, it has been a while who is she?,” Anthony asked as he looked around the
bedroom. Colin was getting more and more frustrated with his brothers. First they just
showed up unannounced and now they were about to ruin the whole surprise.
“Guys I promise we can catch up tomorrow if you leave right now!” he said, really hoping
that Penelope wouldn’t walk in, but before he could say anything he heard the front door
open.
“Colin,” Penelope’s voice rang out. Anthony and Benedict knew that voice and both looked
at each other.
“Penelope. You and Penelope,” they said at the same time both heading to the living room.
Penelope stood in the living room looking in awe at the dinner that was set up and how lovely
everything looked. Hearing the footsteps she turned to see the brothers and her mouth
dropped.
“Anthony. Benedict. What a surprise?” she said.
“I’d say, it looks like Colin and you have some explaining to do,” Anthony said. Colin looked
over at Penelope and just hung his head. He knew that they wouldn’t have been able to keep
their relationship a secret for too long, even though 8 months with a secret from his large
family was impressive. Going over to Colin, Penelope placed her hand on his as a form of
support. Pulling their combined hands to his lips, he kissed her and offered his brothers a
seat.
“Pen and I have been dating for a while,” Colin started by telling them, “We started off by
just trying it out, you know seeing if this is something we could do and well its been
working.”
“How long is a while?” Benedict asked. Colin and Pen looked at each other.
“8 months,” Penelope said.
“8 months! Holy crap!” Anthony said, “Wait so you two have been dating before you came
out here to Greece. Penelope I thought Eloise said you were in the states for work.”
“I have been telling Eloise that I have been traveling for work but really I’ve been visiting.
Please don’t tell Eloise I haven’t found a way to tell her,” Penelope begged. Anthony and
Benedict just looked at each other and started laughing.
“You mean to tell me that I could have won the bet 8 months ago,” Benedict said.
“Bet?” Colin and Penelope said together.
“Yeah, Hyacinth had a bet going on what month you two would finally get your asses out of
your butt and get together. I had April, which is the month if I did my math right,” Benedict
told them.
“You mean to tell me that my family had a bet on my relationship,” Colin said.
“I mean it is Hyacinth, do you really see her not doing that,” Penelope said. Everyone kind of
chuckled at the comment and soon Anthony and Benedict left the couple.
Colin let his brothers out and came back to Penelope on the couch. He was frustrated, though
 he loved his brothers they had ruined the whole night. Penelope could tell that Colin was
frustrated and let him lay his head in her lap so she could play with his hair.
“I’m sorry,” he said, “This was supposed to be a romantic night.”
“We can still make it romantic. I mean that food looks delicious from here and I really
wanted them to leave fast so we could eat because I’m starving,” Penelope said.
“I can warm it up but I don’t know how it can still be romantic. I mean they ruined the whole
thing.” Colin got up and started pacing around the living room. “I mean it is bad enough that
they had to show up unannounced but then when I asked them to leave when they could
clearly see that I was planning something and then they had to find out about us, which us
isn’t the problem it is the fact that we didn’t get to decide when everyone was going to find
out. I mean tonight was suppose to be our night and I was going to feed you strawberries in
bed and tell you I love you and now they ruined all of it.” Penelope stopped listening after he
said I love you.
“Wait hold on Colin,” Colin stopped and looked at her, “You were going to say I love you?”
“Well yeah, I mean I do and I was going to tell you and make it special,” Penelope walked
over to him and took his hands, looking up at him.
“So then tell me.”
“Pen..”
“I don’t need a grand gesture and all this romantic stuff. Even though I would never say no to
it. Colin you just have to say it. It won’t change that reply,” Smiling is half smile Colin
touched his forehead to hers.
“Penelope Featherington, I love you.”
