TOPIC 1:
Global warming is one of the most pressing issues of our time. Its effects are felt all over the world, from
rising sea levels to devastating wildlife. From my perspective, the most serious effect of global warming
is the rise in sea levels. The melting of glaciers and ice caps, as well as the expansion of seawater due to
warming temperatures, is causing the sea level to rise at an alarming rate. This is a major concern, as
rising sea levels can increase the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events. This includes
hurricanes, floods, and droughts which cause damage to infrastructure, loss of life, and displacement of
people. In addition, extreme weather events can lead to disrupting agriculture, transportation, and energy
systems. Therefore, the consequences of rising sea levels are not only limited to coastal areas, but can
also have far-reaching impacts on the global economy and society as a whole. So, it is imperative that we
take action to address the root causes of global warming and work towards mitigating its effects,
especially the rise in sea levels.
TOPIC 4:
As Vietnam continues to develop and modernize, cities will rapidly undergo significant changes. One of
the most significant ones is the continued growth of urbanization, as more and more people move from
rural areas to cities in search of economic opportunities. As a result, there will be the development of new
residential areas, as well as an expansion of transportation infrastructure to accommodate the growing
number of residents. In addition, with the advent of new technology, urban planning will be focused on
making cities more eco-friendly and energy-efficient. This will be achieved by investing in renewable
energy, building green spaces and smart transportation systems. There will be an introduction of air
purifier system that reflects the advances in technology field with a view to filtering polluted air around
the city. Finally, there is likely to be a rise in the number of high-rise buildings in urban areas which also
means new skyscrapers are being constructed at an impressive rate. Therefore, I believe Vietnam would
become a liveable country with a number of considerable improvements as I had mentioned.
TOPIC 3:

TOPIC 2:
From my perspective, students should take a gap year before pursuing further education after highschool.
First of all, taking a gap year offers a chance for personal growth and exploration. It provides an
opportunity to reflect on one's life goals and discover different interests. For many students, taking a gap
year can help them gain a clearer understanding of themselves and their passions. This can be particularly
helpful for those who are undecided about their future career or academic path in order not to waste time
and money. Furthermore, students can also learn many social skills by having part-time jobs in order to
gain working experiences. Earning money from temporary jobs to save for the future as well as working
experiences help students to attract employers with better CVs. Last but not least, after 12-year-journey of
studying students must be very tired, taking a gap year avoids exhaustion of studying and have a better
result in the future. Therefore, I think taking a gap year would be a good choice for students. However,
the decision to take a gap year or pursue further education after high school is a personal one, and should
be based on the individual's goals.
