SUB: Stoppage of redundant paperwork by LP/ALP during loco


operation
Ref: This office letter of even no. dt. 17.10.22(copy enclosed)

Railway Board, vide letter under reference, had advised Zonal


Railways to stop all paperwork which is redundant during loco
operation.
PCEEs of Zonal Railways are again advised to review and ensure
that all paperwork with LPs/ALPs, which is redundant during loco
operation, has been stopped and removed from their duties.
Further, LPs/ALPs should be counseled and monitored to
undertake essential paperwork only when they are not engaged in any
critical activity during loco operation including observation of
signal aspects etc.
A letter of urgent confirmation is solicited.
