Drugs)

the purpose of the house visitation was to monitor,assess,
and provide support to identified PWUDs within the barangay,
as part of the ongoing community0based drug rehabilitation
and aftercare program.

Conducted wellness checks and one-on-one conversations
with PWUDs and their families.
Assessed the current status of each client in term of:
*Compliance with rehabiliotation of aftercare program
*Mental & Physical well-being
*Socioeconomic status and support system
Provided counseling and motivational interviewing for
behavior reinforcement
Distributed EIC materials regarding subdtance abuse
prevention and available community services.
Identified concerns, challenge, and needs expressed by the
PWUDs and their families.

THEME: “Prioritizing Health-Based Approach in Drug Abuse
Prevention and Control”
Venue: Bantug Community Center, Bantug, Roxas, Isabela

Number of Participants: 42 Barangay Workers & 9 BADAC

II. Background & Objective:
DAPC week is an annual national observance designated by
PDNo.124, held every thord week of November, to
enhance public awareness of drug abuse prevention and
promote collaborative measures in response to
illegal drug use.
The 2024 theme underscores a shift toward evidence-based,
compassionate strategies-treatment, rehabilitation,
reintegration, and human rights-centered
solutions.
II-BUDGET ALLOCATION: BADAC FUND/MOOE
IV-OUTPUT OF THE ACTIVITY:
The celebration aims to make people aware of the dangers
posed by drug abuse, and to further strengthen their
resolve to do their share in fight against this
menance.
Barangay Bantug celebrated Drug Abuse Prevention and
Control (DAPC) week during the month of November; the
celebretion was started with putting up display
depicting the theme in strategic place the community. Then
SK Officials distributed flyers in every household
in the community;

To conduct an unannounced visitation to the barangay to assess
the level of compliance with national & local directives
related to anti-illegal drugs programs.

Interviewd barangay Officials & BADAC members regarding
implementation of anti-drug programs
Inspected documents such as:
*BADAC Minutes of Meeting
*Drug Clearing Report
*Watchlist and Monitoring Sheets of PWUDs
*Records of CBRP
Assessed the presence of IEC materials and advocacy
initiatives
Checked if funding is allocated for anti-drug programs in
the barangay budget
Conducted spot observation of ongoing or recent anti-drug
effort.
