COURSE OVERVIEW
The course provides fundamental English vocabulary for the field of commerce,
foundational knowledge of business operations, marketing, production, and the
international business environment. It emphasizes practicing comprehensive reading
skills within contextual frameworks and presenting essential issues in a business
environment. Additionally, students will develop teamwork skills in pairs and
groups, fostering a positive and proactive attitude to better meet the demands of
current learning and future work.
OBJECTIVE
➢ In terms of knowledge:
• Provide students with a general understanding of various fields within commerce.
• Expand students' overall vocabulary and industry-specific terminology.
• Reinforce comprehension skills.
➢ Regarding skills:
• Utilize vocabulary and writing style relevant to commerce.
• Handle fundamental scenarios within a commercial environment.
• Enhance teamwork capabilities.
➢ Self-reliance and responsibility competencies:
• Clearly grasp the practical purpose of applying this course in future specialized subjects.

LEARNING OUTCOMES ASSESSMENT
1. Description of learning outcomes assessment:
Students must fulfill the following tasks:
• Attend a minimum of 80% of classroom sessions.
• Complete all assignments (in-class, at home, and self-study on Moodle) and have their
performance evaluated.
• Participate in assessments as specified by the course.
• Take part in the final course examination.
• Actively organize and engage in self-study hours.
