ABOUT SHRI RAMKRISHNA SEVA MANDAL
Late Shri G. S. Patel, also known as Vakil Saheb, established Shri Ramkrishna Seva Mandal with the motto of "Bahujan Hitay,Bahujan
Sukhay" on August 15, 1954, adopting the principle of Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans and his ardent disciple Swami- Vivekanand. In the
past 69 years, SRKSM has reached three signifcant milestones. First milestone was establishment of Matrumangalam-a family welfare
centre, Orthopaedic Hospital, Centre for Maternity and Gynaecological Services, and Anand Hospital equipped with the most up-to-date
equipment and ambulance services in the Anand and nearby areas. The second milestone was the founding of Anand Arts College in
1963, which marked its footprints in the area of education followed by various grant-in-aid institution. Also, to support the elderly and
those in need, SRKSM established Anand Dham in Lambhvel with contemporary amenities and infrastructure. The third milestone was
achieved with the establishment of first SRKSM self- financed Institute, Anand Pharmacy College in 1998. Since then, numerous graduate
and postgraduate institutions were established of which majority are accredited. The trust today has cutting edge teaching and learning
systems, contemporary infrastructure, and facilities with around 27 institutes and more than 20,000 students, teachers, and support staff.
