Today we are going to talk about the simple

machines and its different kinds.

What are Simple Machines? Kindly read

Simple machines are basic mechanical
devices that help make work easier by
reducing the effort needed to move objects.

There are six kinds of simple machine, these

are; lever, inclined plane, wedge, pulley,
wheel and axle, screw.

We have the first kind of simple machine, the

Lever
Lever – A rigid bar that pivots around a fixed
point (fulcrum) to lift or move a load.

Example of a lever is a seesaw in a

playground or a crowbar used to lift
