The Three Little Pigs Folk Tale

This popular tale tells the story of three little pigs who build houses of different materials to protect themselves from the big bad wolf. The first pig builds a house of straw, the second one of sticks, and the third one of bricks. The wolf blows down and destroys the straw and stick houses, but he cannot knock down the brick house, and ends up falling into a pot of boiling water set by the pigs.

Narrator 1: -Once upon a time, there were three little pigs who decided to go out to seek their fortune. The first

Pig 1: -Mr. Farmer, could you give me some straw to build my house?
Farmer: -With great pleasure.

Narrator 1: -The little pig started to build his house.

Pig 1: In my straw house I will live, I will take a day to finish it and if the wolf comes, I will not let him in.
I will open.

Narrator 2: -The second pig encountered a lumberjack on the road who was carrying a
bundle of sticks.

Piglet 2: -Mr. Lumberjack, could you give me some sticks to build my house?

Lumberjack: -With pleasure.

Narrator 2: -The pig began to build his house.

Pig 2: In my house of sticks I will live, it will take me four days to finish it, and if the wolf comes,
I will not open it.

Narrator 1: -The third little pig met a bricklayer on the road who was carrying a
wheelbarrow of bricks.

Piglet 3: Mr. Mason, could you give me some bricks to build my house?

Mason: -With great pleasure.

-And the piglet began to build his house.

Piglet 3: In my brick house I will live, it will take me a week to finish it, and if the wolf

Wolf: -Piglet, invite me in.

Wolf: -Piglet, invite me in.

Piglet 2: -No, wolf, you will not be able to enter my house.

Wolf: -Well, you'll see! I will blow, I will blow, and I will destroy your brick house.

Narrator 2: -The wolf took a breath. He blew, he blew, and he blew and the brick house did not move.

Wolf: - I will blow, I will blow and I will blow even more, and I will destroy your brick house!

Narrator 1: -The wolf took a deep breath. He huffed, he puffed, and the brick house did not budge.
