II - DEVELOPMENT
1 - WHAT IS PROPHETIC INTERCESSION
- Foundation: Gn 18:17; Nm 12:1-8; Eze 37:1-14.
Prophetic Intercession is an anticipation, a revelation of a fact that is about to happen.
Ezekiel 37:1-14 – The Prophet's Vision: the Valley of Dry Bones.
-Characteristics of the Prophetic Moment: (Lead, Intervene and Prophesy)
Ezekiel 37 - The Dry Bones
The prophet was transported by the Spirit of Yahweh to the valley of dry bones (he did not want to go to the
Well, he was driven by the Spirit to there.
Why did the Spirit take the prophet there?
He was giving Ezekiel a spiritual vision of how the nation was.
The intercessor intervenes prophetically in desperate situations to bring about change.
Called The intercessors intervene prophetically in order to bring us transformation;
3rd. Interceding is prophesying, The Lord spoke to the prophet: 'prophesy over these bones.'
When the knowledge of God is revealed, it is up to the intercessor to proclaim, to prophesy
(declare the will of God over a situation so that it may be transformed). 1 Cor 2:10-12
Intercessors need to be open to the action of the Holy Spirit, practicing the prophetic listening that He
wants it to be prayed as he wants.
Intercessors must be prepared and practiced (personal prayer, Word of God, in the Sacraments).
When God speaks, He reveals the areas that need us to intercede:
The strategies to defeat the enemy;
Actions and statements that will break obstacles
The sources of spiritual wars
The victory that happens through the victory of God. Is 42:9; Jr 33:3
2 - UNDERSTANDING PROPHETIC INTERCESSION
Seek the presence of God to talk;
Meeting God and listening to Him on behalf of others;
Finding and hearing God;
Speak by the mind and counsel of the Lord.
In prophetic intercession, the intercessor enters the presence of God to listen to His thoughts and advice.
2 Corinthians 2:10-11
a) What is prophecy?
Comes from the Greek word prophecy, which means 'to declare the mind and counsel of God'.
The Prophet declares the mind and counsel of God. Is 6:5-8; Jer 1:6-10
Etymological Concept of Intercession:
The Greek word for intercession is =enteuxis.
Enteuxis means 'to approach for conversation'.
Enteuxisé is the term used to enter the presence of a king and also to enter the presence
of the Lord in intercession (Gen 18:22).
The intercessor, being in the presence of the Lord, presents to Him supplications, prayers, cries, tears, etc.
For the exercise of prophetic intercession, the use of charisms (those of revelation and those of power) is required. 1 Cor

3 - THE RIGHT PRAYER AT THE RIGHT TIME
Considerations in prophetic intercession:
Many times the prayer of intercession is not effective because we do not ask the Lord what grace is.
he wants her to be freed in that life.
An Intercession Ministry that does not listen to what God wants is not a Ministry. It is a prayer group.
The prophetic intercession in the Bible:
Abraham - Genesis 18:20-32;
Moses – Ex 32:7-14;
Jesus - John 17;
Ananias – At 9,10-17
Paul – At 22:17-21
4 - INTERCESSION IS FOR EVERYONE
Intercession is a calling for every faithful person, just like worship and testimony.
The Devil tries to convince people that this type of prayer is for specialists.
We are all called to stand in the gap for one another in any situation we find ourselves in.
The Word of God reveals to us the connection between the Ministry of Intercession and revelations (Prophetic Visions)
what we receive to better fulfill our mission.
Moses the great intercessor of the Old Testament:
Ex 24:17-18, Moses on the mountain of God where he stayed for forty days and forty nights,
Dn 6:11b; 10:2-3 - Daniel received revelation of present and future events.
Intercessors of the New Testament:
Jesus, the great Intercessor before God.
Lc 2:37b – The prophetess Anna received the revelation that the baby in Mary's arms was the Messiah.
betrothed.
At 10:2 - Cornelius received from God the guidance to go and bring Peter to his house.
At 10:23 - Pedro received the revelation that the Gentiles could receive baptism.
2 Cor 12:4 - Paul the great intercessor of the New Testament.
