MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN HELD
ON DECEMBER 12, 2023, HELD AT THE BARANGAY HALL BANTEY, TADIAN

CALL TO ORDER: The chair called the meeting to order at 9:00 in the morning followed by
the opening prayer lead by Mr. Ezra P. Pal-og.
ROLL CALL: No need as the chair declared the existing of the quorum.
MINUTES OF THE MEETING: Reading the previous regular meeting last November 2023
upon the motion of Ms.Kristine Joy C. Todagen and duly seconded by Mr. Marben P. Lapugen
said that the minutes was accepted.
BUSINESS OF THE DAY:
A. BALATINAW FESTIVAL
Ms. Chairman informed the member that the fiesta will be on December 30.
Ms. Chairman informed the member that we can’t disburse the budget for
barangay fiesta.
Mr. Ezra Pal-og asked what will be going to do if we can’t disburse the
money.
Ms. Chairman suggested that we can solicit for the Community of Bantey.
Ms. Uniece Ambatcan asked the theme of the fiesta.
Ms. Chairman said that the barangay council created many themes yet they
can’t decide what they will select
Ms. Chairman informed to the member that the SK belongs to the committee
on stage preparation, and ball games.
Mr. Franly asked if what the possible activities are on December 30.
Ms. Chairman suggested the Bantey got talent to be done on December 29
night.
Mr. Marben Lapugen suggested the Mr. and Ms. Balatinaw for enjoyment.
The body approved Mr. and Ms. Balatinaw and the criteria for Mr. and Ms.
Balatinaw are as follows:
Production (5%) Sports (10%)
Evening Gown (10%) Professional (10%)
Q&A (25%) Ethnic (15%)
Casual (10%) Talents (15%)
The participants should be 18 of age and above.
The suggested judges are Hon. Sarkar Aaron Wanget, Maám Vina Banawag,
Maám Phoebe Salao.
The body decided that in case that there are no participants on Mr. and Ms.
Balatinaw the second option was got talent.
The activity falls to the program with opening prayer by Uniece Ambatcan
followed by opening remarks by our barangay captain, introductory part of the
participants, community dance, intermission from Sk Officials, and others.
The materials needed in the Mr. and Ms. Balatinaw are sashes, glitters, crown,
folders, pencils and etc.
C. No more business to be discussed the meeting was adjourned at 3:00 in the afternoon
