OVERVIEW:
The Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) operates as a branch of the Lahore
Development Authority (LDA), and it was created to tackle the increasing traffic and transportation issues
prevalent in urban regions, particularly in Lahore. TEPA's duties encompass the planning, design, and
implementation of traffic management and roadway infrastructure initiatives. The agency focuses on
various aspects such as traffic signal systems, flyovers, underpasses, expressways, and safety measures
aimed at promoting efficient traffic flow. Additionally, TEPA formulates transport policies, carries out
surveys, and employs advanced technologies to alleviate congestion and improve mobility. The agency is
instrumental in aligning traffic planning with urban development to foster sustainable growth and enhance
public accessibility.

OVERVIEW OF THE PROJECT
KASUR SPORTS COMPLEX
The Kasur Sports Complex is a significant initiative aimed at providing advanced sports and recreational
amenities for the residents of Kasur. This facility has been designed to encourage healthy living and
develop local talent, featuring a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces such as gyms, running tracks,
cricket pitches, soccer fields, and versatile courts. Additionally, it includes training areas that facilitate
youth participation in both national and regional sports activities.
Completed between 2016 and 2017, this project exemplifies the government's commitment to enhancing
modern infrastructure beyond Lahore and promoting equitable regional growth throughout Punjab. By
offering contemporary facilities, the Kasur Sports Complex not only fosters physical well-being but also
serves as a venue for district and inter-city sporting events, becoming a focal point for community
engagement and talent development.
