In the morning of August 26, 2025, five Al Jazeera journalists along the names of

Mariam Dagga, Mohammed Salama, Ahmad Abu Aziz, Hussam al-Masri, Moaz Abu

Taha, were killed in a Israeli airstrike at the Nasser hospital in the southern part of Gaza

as Israel accidentally launched an airstrike at the hospital in its war against Hamas

Terrorist. Aside from the five journalists sixteen other people in the Nasser hospital were

also found dead.

On August 24, 2025 Marcos declared that he will not leave his office until the flood

control issues is solved during his inspection of the Kennun road rockshed project. He

noted that the 260 million pesos spent on the project had no effect in protecting the

area and stated that the contractors didn’t build anything nor do anything.
