Objectives:
Upon the completion of the course, students will be able to:

1. Recognize, identify and trace the alphabets from Aa to Zz.

2. Recognize, identify and make sounds of alphabets.

3. Recognize, identify and trace the numbers from 0 to 20.


4. Identify and name all the pictures from the textbook.
5. Sing the songs in each unit.

Objectives:
Upon the completion of the course, students will be able to:

1. Recognize and name the pictures from textbook through showing the pictures in term I & II.
2. Read, write alphabet from Aa to Zz and make sounds of the alphabet in term I & II.
3. Read and write all the numbers 0-20 and count the real things in term I & II.
4. Write, spell the words and numbers. Read and write short sentences or phrases in Term III.
5. Describe about the picture in the textbook.
6. Make conversation through each content in the textbook.
7. Ask and answer the questions about themselves and each lesson.
8. Sing the songs in each unit.

What does a teacher do before, during, and after teaching?

1. Before Teaching

- Read teacher’s guide and Check course outline to choose a lesson for teaching.
- Write teaching note by following the teaching schedule and teacher’s guide.
- Submit teaching note to DCP or HT to check. Get the teaching note back on time.
- Prepare worksheets both classwork and homework and make sure that worksheets
are copied ready before teaching time at least one day in advance.
- Prepare flashcards, song poster, some hand-made teaching materials, real teaching
materials.
- Check pronunciation with reliable dictionary (Cambridge Dictionary or Macmillan
English Dictionary)
- Be ready with activities from teacher’s guide and other creative activities to create a
joyful classroom.

What does a teacher do before, during, and after teaching?


2. During Teaching

- Follow the steps in teaching note.


- Manage classroom by using TPR (Total Physical Respond)
- Create a classroom routine: read classroom rule, alphabet, days of the week….
- Use warm-up before starting a new activity with student.
- Review lesson and introduce target language by eliciting with game or attractive
activities.
- Make a role model before having student practice activities.
- Have students to repeat teacher’s speech or mime teacher’s activities many times.
- Praise students with their good result and students who need improvement.
- Focus on slow learner.
- Move around the class.
- Manage time properly.

- Assess students’ learning outcomes.

➢ Skill Focus
-There are four macro skills and three micro-skills.
-Macro Skills: Reading Skill, Listening Skill, Speaking Skill and Writing Skill
-Micro-skills: Vocabulary, Grammar and Pronunciation (Sound)

➢ Aim
-It is related with skill focus.
-What lesson or skill we want to teach our student.

➢ Objectives
- The Objectives are brief, clear, specific statements of what learners will be able to do at
the end of a lesson as a result of the activities, teaching and learning that has taken place.
- The objectives are often written with action verbs.
