I. Learning Outcome
At the end of the lesson, the learners must have;
a. Students will be able to understand the key concepts of careers, career
development, life goals, personal factors affecting career choices and the six
personality types as defined by Holland.
b. Students will participate actively in group work, presenting their findings on
Holland's personality types through collaborative effort.
c. Students will develop a positive attitude towards goal setting and I
self-awareness in their career planning.

B. Procedure Teacher’s Activity
1. Engagement ● The teacher will incorporate a game entitled “Future Focus:
Exploring Your Profession”
● The teacher will display a set of different career professions in
the class
● The teacher will ask students to choose a profession that they
aligned with their interest, skills, and personality traits.
● The teacher will provide students with sticky notes and write
down how it interest them in their choosen career profession
and let them share it with the class.
● The teacher will asks the students about:
What did you learn about yourself from the game?
2. Exploration
● The teacher will ask guiding question to encourage critical
thinking:
1. Did you know, that being aware of yourself, will help you
in deciding your future career? Why is it so?
● The teacher will synthesize students’ responses to highlight the
relevance of the topic and lead into the discussion.
3. Explanation ● The teacher will formally introduce the lesson on persons and
careers by prompting a question

● The teacher will explain the lesson thoroughly, ensuring clarity

4. Elaboration (Collaborative Activity) : "Personality - Based Group Discussion"
● The teacher will organize the class into 6 groups.
● Each group will select one representative to pick piece of paper
containing Holland's personality types. (e.g, Artistic, Realistic,
Investigative, Conventional, Enterprising, and Social)
● The teacher will asks students to brainstorm on the personality
types they got, and let them present to the class. To end up the
activity;
● The teacher will wrap up the overall lesson
5. Evaluation ● Lastly, the teacher give the students an assignment providing
their short reflective essay answering:
“How important for you to know yourself first before diciding
your future career?
“How can personal factors influence your career choice?
“ How can setting life goals help you achieve your dream
career?
